"We were able to relax on the generous deck. The kitchen was functional for many to visit and work at the same time The large family room with couches was great for watching the World Cup on the huge TV, disappointing as the outcome was. The many bedrooms accommodated our large family very well."

"Great communication, great spot for smores, love the basement, well stocked! if you stay in July the temp upstairs is very hot unless you figure out how to hold the AC temp lower on main floor, and it doesn't return to normal settings after 8hrs on its own. I would definitely come back as the relaxing setting is just right for vaca!"

"We didn’t do a big family vaca this summer. We wanted to do something low key and relaxing. We did a long weekend here. This house is very clean and perfect for us. It was my husband and I, our 3 kids(15, 11, 11) and my in-laws. We had plenty of room and beds to sleep in. The house was very comfortable climate wise. "The cottage is very cute and a great place for a solo vacation alongside a lake! Everything needed for cooking is available in the kitchen, and plenty of room in the fridge for groceries needed on vacation. I was able to use the kayak available, and it was on a small rolling cart so was easy for me to pull it just down the street to the public launch. "We love this spot and will come back, either in the Fall to sit around the fire on the patio or next year for Blueberry season. The stars at night were lovely. You're close to Douglas/Saugatuck and can enjoy all they have to offer but return 'home' for quiet evenings and mornings (with a lovely rooster next door). The goodies were much appreciated! On the next visit, we want to tour the artist studio :) "
