"A few hours after checking into the VRBO on Friday, there was a mechanical issue in the house related to the extreme cold weather which could have ruined our entire weekend; however, the property owner promptly got someone on sight first thing Saturday morning, determined the issue couldn't be fixed immediately, found a property within 1 mile where we could stay for no additional fee, AND gave us a refund. "My husband, myself, my sister and our children ages 6-17 stayed here for a relaxing family weekend. This is actually my secone stay here this year! The location is perfect! Close to amenities but far enough away to get a full camping/outdoors secluded experience! We love to sit by the fire, watch the birds, fish at Finleys landing and walk the beach. The cabin is cozy and rustic and thoroughly stocked with firewood and cooking supplies! Perfect stay for families! "

"My husband and I came up for a quick visit to see my in-laws. I wish we could have spent more time at this cabin. It was adorable, it had all the necessary amenities. I loved the wood stove; it kept the cabin warm on chilly evenings. Staying right on the Wisconsin river was a bonus. I enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch and listening to the wind chimes. I saw from the guest book that many people who stay have returned multiple times since their first visit and I plan to come back, too! ...
