This is the perfect location to have as a base to explore the South West.
The house is situated on an acre site overlooking Tralee Bay surrounded by beautiful mountain views.
Fenit Harbour is a 5 min drive away with its amazing scenery and unspoilt village. Here one can enjoy beach walks along the shore or go up to St.Brendan's statue situated on a steep cliff side over looking the harbour.
Then have a wonderful lunch in the quaint Beach Shop serving organic vegetarian meals not to be missed, or enjoy a tipple in the West End Bar with excellent bar menu.
There are daily boat trips out to the off-shore lighthouse where one can disembark and explore the sights.
Fenit has a very active sailing school. Fishing trips and sea angling can be also be arranged from this Port.
There is also a local horse riding stable where beach treks are on offer.
Down the road from the house is an award winning local bar and restaurant, The Tankard. Here regular super music nights are held and the food is highly recommended.
Further back up the road towards Tralee, there is the Oyster Tavern and Spa sea foods, both highly recommended by the owner.

There are numerous activities in the area. It's a golfers paradise with numerous top rated clubs to choose from including Tralee Links designed by Arnold Palmer, Ballybunion Waterville,The Dooks and Killarney all within driving distance of Oysterhaven.
The Dingle Peninsula is a 40 min scenic drive away known for its climbing ,surfing, windsurfing, and fishing.
Dingle town itself is a very busy nucleus with many shops offering a wide range of merchandise - local knitted garments to pottery to jewellery; or enjoy the vast choice of restaurants and pubs, many offering traditional music.
The Ring of Kerry is a 40 min drive away in the opposite direction - a magnificent scenic area with Killarney National Park where one can horse trek.
Tralee town itself is a 10 min drive from home where one can enjoy Siamsa Tire, Ireland's National Folk Theatre, or head to the Greyhound stadium for a really enjoyable meal and place a bet or two.
