"An historic building. Large hotel which is is pretty well maintained. Staff were all great and really pleasant. Very surprised how good the food was. We had 3 course menu in what was a busy restaurant. Food arrived quickly and was excellent. Room was large with a comfortable bed. Overall an excellent weekend and yes I would go back."

"Very friendly, welcoming, helpful staff throughout makes for a lovely homely atmosphere. Rooms are comfortable with modern bathrooms. The quality of food, excellently prepared for dinner and at a great price makes a vist to the restaurant well worth a visit."

"We stayed as joining friends for 60th Birthday and couldn’t fault anything, everyone was friendly, helpful and I’m sure if anything had happened during our stay it would have been sorted. Would return to hotel and recommend to friends & family. Oh and one of the best Breakfasts I’ve had Perfect."

"Excellent Hotel and the Food was Amazing .Staff were fabulous .Breakfast was good as well. However we had a young girl at breakfast who didn’t look up to greet us.we had to ask where we were seated. She never returned to see if we needed more coffee! More training needed. Not a front person. The young girls we had for check in and our evening were Amazing . "
