"Very nice, clean beautiful area. Unfortunately, our weekend was Extremely windy so kept us inside. The only thing that I would keep in mind is, it is right next to the owners so not a lot of privacy if that’s what you’re looking for. Other than that, it was a nice stay. "

"4 of us stayed here for a week for a fishing trip in early October. We found the cabin to in excellent condition and very clean with an adequate supply of linens and towels. Perch fishing was excellent. We caught many 14"+ each day we were there in the weed beds between the cabin and Goose Island. Walleye fishing was slow during our stay but the ones we caught were all 19"-22". The cabin is somewhat remote, it is about 20 minutes from the town and Cass Lake and 25 minutes from Walker but...

"This was in a great location, close to town. We really enjoyed staying in this private oasis. We enjoyed how thorough Rick was before check-in and during our stay. "Rented out this place for a weekend fishing trip on leech. Great place. Really clean and spacious exactly like the pictures. It wasn't mentioned if they had a grill on the property, so I brought one just in case, but they do have one that runs on propone. Honestly the best thing which I was kind of worried about if my group should of brought ourself are household consumables i.e.. toilet paper, paper toilets, hand soap etc. They had it all supplied for us. Appreciated the stash of board games...

"Shannon and Randy were great hosts, they clearly wanted us to have a good time (and we had a great time). The Crappie Cabin was clean, warm and very cute. Randy is a fishing guide, and although he had other clients booked for this weekend, he encouraged us to fish along side with him, free of change. Randy put us on the fish, and the fishing was really good. We will be booking another stay with them next year because we had such a good time!"

"We had a great time. Property worked well for us. We had an issue with wet sheets and towels that management responded to. A few things to note: A/C is a portable unit on the main floor living area with fans in all of the other rooms. There are steps leading down to the cabin from parking area, leading to upstairs bedrooms and between living area and kitchen/entry. Not suitable for handicapped. We enjoyed the kayaks and the complimentary S'more kit."
