"We enjoyed our stay in the comfortable DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa. Our room was huge, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool in the spa area and thought there was a filling spread of food at the breakfast buffet. The hotel is within an easy walk of Harrogate's historic buildings, shopping, theatre, convention centre. We were there on a busy weekend and I think the only issue we had was with the paper thin walls between the room. We could make out every word that the people next to us were saying (they were not trying to be loud) when they came in late at night, and I'm sure that they didn't enjoy our family getting ready to use the pool for 7 am. It may be quieter during the week and if so would be perfect."

"The hotel was very accommodating. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and really helpful. The lighting in some areas we found quite dim, particularly in the bathroom."

In an age when hotel lounges seem to be shrinking, Cedar Court offers the finest in comfort, attractive surroundings and spaciousness. Ambers restaurant is spectacular where old world and modern decor is a feast to the eye. And the menu offers a wide selection of meals that we have not found anywhere else on our stays in Harrogate. Cuisine at its best. We have only found this standard in 5 star hotels. Thus was our second visit to the hotel and the future, we will never stay anywhere else when we visit Harrogate. "
