"Property was easy to get to, the strung lights in the yard was a nice touch as we arrived after dark. Nice setting, with big back porch and chairs on a nicely mowed large yard. The house was nice, ample beds for my husband, my 2 sons & myself, comfortable, amazing antiques. IF I had more time, it would have been a beautiful float to the park stated in the info. "We had a great experience with this rental. The only thing we could think of as a slight negative is the lack of a box of Kleenex!! Great kitchen for making breakfast and a couple dinners. Plenty of comfy beds and nice bathrooms for everyone. Location was peaceful but not too far from town. We enjoyed the visiting deer. Would stay again and recommend it!"

"The owners of this beautiful home were just wonderful and so thoughtful. The home and surrounding property is lovely and every detail has been considered. We only wish we had more time there! We would definitely return! "

"We celebrated my husbands 80 th birthday. Family joined us from East and West coasts. The party barn saved the day when we had some heavy rains the first couple days. Later when the skies cleared we played the tourist in Columbus and everyone enjoyed the little shops and learning about local Texas history."

"If you want an awesome weekend get away that isn't too far from your home, I highly highly recommend this place, especially with kids! My kids had so much fun paddle boarding, fishing, playing with the cows and other animals, chasing after the turkeys and peacocks, and playing with Bailey and Biscuit the farm dogs who are super friendly! "We recently stayed at Double K Lodging and had a great experience. Double K is located out in the countryside close to Round Top. There are three cabins available to rent, all located in a beautiful bucolic setting near a large pond, but with plenty of space separating them. "We enjoyed our stay at Milk & Honey. The Casita was clean, offered a comfortable place to sleep and lots of outdoor activities. We do believe the rental of a casita should automatically include a golf cart as parking isn’t close to the casitas which makes unloading difficult. The houses have basic kitchen utensils but if you plan to do more than just basic cooking, you will need items for the stove top. "Everything was top notch at Milk and Honey Ranch! From the friendliness of all the employees, to the immaculate casita, it was a wonderful overnight stay. The beds were so comfortable! The layout of the house was beautiful and, by the way, this Cassita XL was completely handicap accesible. There are so many things to see and do on this property. Every kind of farm animal and plenty of ways to get exercise. A gem in Washington County and so close to Round Top, Texas! We will be back!"

"We had a fabulous time with 12 people celebrating our daughter's birthday. The house was plenty big, completely beautiful and close enough to Round Top for a Saturday night in town. The weather even cooperated!We love this property, the unique layout with fun activities including pool, Bocci ball, swimming, pinball and several decks of cards.
