"We really enjoyed our stay and Alexis is the perfect host, he’s very responsive to all communication, even when the queries were probably inane! Like other comments, the gite has a bit of a strange layout but then that gives it character. Yes it’s on a main road but you soon ignore the noise. Everything is provided, the gite was very clean and the pool is a good size. I’d definitely recommend staying here"

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in Chaises Basses. It’s a beautiful, old and rustic farmhouse that was lovingly restored, with many original features including a very large fireplace. It’s a perfect place if you are looking to hide away somewhere for a little while. It is located in Corrèze, in a very quiet area, but you are not too far from other busier areas like Dordogne. "The gite is lovely and oozes character - it's a special place. The pool is fantastic and there are plenty of loungers to be in the sun or shade. The BBQ area is great, as is the outside eating area. Dawn is a fantastic host. She was there to meet us and give us a good overview of the place. Easily contactable by text and very responsive. We had a great stay and would love to go back one day!"
