"Needed a little mid-week getaway for the pup and me. This spot checked all the boxes. The house was perfect, and the property is fantastic, with a few trails to go explore. The host was responsive and made me feel like they would take care of anything had it come up. Highly recommend!"

"Love this property and hosts.Completely off grid in the middle of the woods. Snowmobile trails were great. We had a small power issue that cut the trip short. 2ft of snow blocked the solar panels and then the backup system had issues. Hosts did everything they could to help, but mother nature kinda took her course. We will be back again, and again. Absolutely love this cabin."

"This place was a perfect hideaway! Right on the river! My husband and I enjoyed a snowy weekend away with our dog and this place was cozy and had everything we needed and then some! "

"We picked this location based on the promise of being a short walk to the lake and I messaged the host asking if it was a good lake for swimming. We walked over to the public access and it was maybe 6 feet wide, weedy, in between private properties. We ended up driving to Wilson State Park about 20 mins away the 2 full days we were here, because the reason we'd chosen it was lake accessibility. "We enjoyed our stay at the Ranger House. The lake was beautiful and fishing was decent. It’s an 8 min walk to the lake so we drove down for fishing. We had fun learning about the property’s previous owner Harry Bennett and looking for the previous Boy Scout buildings. Steve was easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend this rental! "

"Everything was better than it looked online! The cabin was clean and comfy which made it feel at home. We pulled in the first night with the driveway already shoved and plowed which was so considerate with the snow storm that happened during the weekend. Lots of space and much to do inside of the cabin! I am considering booking another stay sometime soon! Would recommend for couples or other groups Looking to get away to a secluded area!"
