"Love this property and hosts.Completely off grid in the middle of the woods. Snowmobile trails were great. We had a small power issue that cut the trip short. 2ft of snow blocked the solar panels and then the backup system had issues. Hosts did everything they could to help, but mother nature kinda took her course. We will be back again, and again. Absolutely love this cabin."

"We had a peaceful extended weekend getaway at this property. The cottage was exactly as pictured and described. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. We spent a lot of time on the deck, watching the Muskegon River and listening to the song birds. We even heard a Barred Owl and saw some loons and a few deer. I also enjoyed the surrounding area. "We picked this location based on the promise of being a short walk to the lake and I messaged the host asking if it was a good lake for swimming. We walked over to the public access and it was maybe 6 feet wide, weedy, in between private properties. We ended up driving to Wilson State Park about 20 mins away the 2 full days we were here, because the reason we'd chosen it was lake accessibility. "We enjoyed our stay at the Ranger House. The lake was beautiful and fishing was decent. It’s an 8 min walk to the lake so we drove down for fishing. We had fun learning about the property’s previous owner Harry Bennett and looking for the previous Boy Scout buildings. Steve was easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend this rental! "
