"It was a nice place to stay as we had to visit French consulate nearby so very handy. Also opposite Gloucester Road tube station and Waitrose opposite side of road. Could leave our luggage there for the day which was really helpful. Decor theme was London Underground so had quirky carpet, fixings, pictures etc. Was in room 301 which was quiet and near to the lift."

"Pay attention to the check in/deposit process. After check in an email should be sent and a request for a deposit. After the deposit, instructions on your room and how to get in will be sent. Other than that the come and leave as you go is nice and convenient."

"The pub itself is very good. Food and service excellent. Our room was very tired and inneedof updating. The worse thing was the bed, which had a coil sprung mattress which was one of the most uncomfortable we have ever slept on. We were offered a room change for the second night, but it was Christmas day and we had to travel into Henley for the day so couldn’t wait long enough for a room to be ready for us. "We loved how reasonable the place was, and how close it was to the airport. However, the mattress was pretty cheap, the shower in room number four was clogged and began to overflow pretty soon after beginning the shower. Finally, a shuttle one-way cost 42 pounds which seems unreasonable for a 10 minute drive. Taxis were cheaper but they were still 30 pounds. If you don’t have a lot of luggage, you can take the subway and it’s not too bad of a walk. "

"Our stay here was a last minute decision to take the stress out of a morning long haul flight and it was perfect. Booked on Christmas day and still received immediate and helpful responses from the owner. The room was perfect for our family of 4. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of off road parking. After we left the owned called to say that we had left a wallet in the room and he very kindly posted it to my home address. Would highly recommend and we will definitely use again when...
