Not worth the cost
First, the place was not ready when we arrived (approx 3 hours after the check in time) due to cleaning issues, but the owners were gracious and refunded us the cleaning fee on the spot. They were friendly and helpful and the location is good and beds were comfortable. However, this place is advertised as a certain rate per night but after fees charged by VRBO and the management company, Evolve, we paid 40% more per night. The pictures and other reviews make this place seem a lot nicer than it really is. The sofa is falling apart on one end, the floor tile is dirty and permanently discolored, silverware, pans and other utensils out of the drawer were not clean. We started using paper plates and plastic forks. The house had a musty stale smell and we found old cheetoes and candy wrappers in and under the beds in one of the rooms. The outside of the house is cute but covered in cobwebs. This place is definitely rustic and I don’t feel like the price reflects that. We were offered a partial refund for the situation with the dirty bedroom but it was not the amount we were expecting as they did not consider all the fees part of the nightly rate! Anyway just look at the fees before you book this one and be prepared for a rustic experience.

The A-frame house in Farmington is located so close to Nemacolin you feel apart of resort. The cabin is cozy and super well stocked. Five females fared well sharing the kitchen, bedrooms and two baths. The outside property was beautiful! Has a grill, fire pit, fishing rods and plenty of seats. Nice stay!

This is an excellent place for a quiet getaway in the woods. Property is surrounded by tall trees and ferns, and near a beautiful creek and small lake. House is spacious and clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Owner was very helpful with any questions and easy to reach if needed.

Weekend trip to Ohiopyle
We enjoyed our stay very much. My family and I go to Ohiopyle frequently and usually stay at a campground. This time we decided to get a cabin (since my kids are all over 25yo and don’t need entertained). We really enjoyed the seclusion of the property. The lake is beautiful and very relaxing. The house was perfect, more than enough room for us to enjoy ourselves. Well taken care of and clean. The owners are easy to contact and available for any needs. We would without a doubt rent this property again.

Weekend getaway
This place is like a hunter's cabin meets cozy cottage. The hosts have thoughtfully provided everything you will need from activities to hair dryers, etc. They were available and responded quickly. The cabin is set in the woods with access to a lake. It is quite rustic while comfortable and cute. This is family friendly. Kids loved it.
