West Falmouth Cottage in the Heart of This Historic Village.

Brand new property, built and designed with a modern, seaside vibe perfect for a family vacation, inter-generational retreat, couples getaway, girls reunion... any reason or season.
• Eco-friendly travel! Electricity powered entirely by renewable energy.
• Situated just 300 yards from West Falmouth Harbor for launching your kayak or paddleboard (easily rentable, with lessons)-- and for ending the day sitting on the dock viewing the spectacular sunsets.
• Even closer is access to the Shining Sea Bikeway-- a 10-mile paved trail hugs the coast passing the Great Marsh, Cranberry Bogs, Salt Pond Bird Sanctuary used by walkers, runners, bikers (easy rentals nearby), and skaters.
• Swimming, or wind surfing, at Chapoquoit Beach just a short walk away; plus Old Silver Beach known as one of the Cape's best for families is two miles away. (Beach stickers for parking available in town).
• The West Falmouth Village newly-renovated 180-year-old Library offers activities for kids, lectures, concerts for adults and, of course, books and dvds.
In fact, with the all food you might need at the market across the street and the quaint ice cream shop and cafe next door-- vacationers might choose not to use their car at all. But if they do, the Town of Falmouth Main Street is 4 miles away with shops, restaurants, Village Green activities. Woods Hole, just 7 miles away, has it's own charming shops and restaurants, and provides ferries to Martha's Vineyard.
West Falmouth boasts quick travel from the Bourne Canal Bridge and access to the main routes to the rest of the Cape for day trips to mid-cape and all the way to Provincetown.
The home itself is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath 1700 sq ft airy haven that features a front porch for morning coffee, private back patio for relaxing and barbecuing, kitchen with dining table and all the amenities of your favorite B&B. Two bedrooms downstairs, plus full-size sleeper sofa, and the upstairs loft designed not just for sleeping (king size bed, day bed, and room for kiddie sleeping bags) but for playing board games, reading, and hanging out.
This is a fully equipped cottage that includes a smart tv, internet, air conditioning and heat, washer & dryer, dishwasher. And, of course, all linens, bedding and towels (including tons of beach towels) are of good quality and freshly laundered.
The owners live in the unit next door and are available to provide information and assistance... or leave you to your privacy.

No parties allowed, no pets. See safety features for information about precautions we're taking for health and safety this season. For security purposes, the front porch of the house is equipped with a security camera doorbell.

Perfect location in Falmouth
We loved this house and location. It was just perfect for our 3-day stay on the Cape. The house was perfectly clean with great linens and towels, and stocked kitchen. Right across the street is the most awesome little neighborhood market, with pizza oven, fresh breads, deli, pastries, and wine. A 2-min walk away is a 16-mile rail trail that was great for morning walks. The only disappointment was a charcoal grill instead of a small gas grill. We had in mind to grill one night but it was getting too late to wait for charcoal to get lit. The kitchen table was fine for two of us, but may be an issue for larger group if all beds are filled. However there is an outdoor patio table. We would stay here again.

A lovely, well-situated place
We liked this house very much. It was bright, clean and roomy and the kitchen was well-equipped. Markie communicates quickly and clearly and is easy to deal with. The decor is charming, and the location (across the street from a great little market and yards from a terrific, scenic bike path) can't be beat.

Relaxation
This home is beautiful. It was super clean, well thought out, and tastefully decorated. The location can’t be beat. You can walk up the street and be at a beach in minutes if you are inclined to do so. Falmouth is a short drive away, where you will find shops and restaurants. Markie was such a great host. She checked in on us and offered veggies from her garden! I highly recommend.

House had everything we needed
The house was very nice, clean, and in a good location for exploring the cape. Loved the West Falmouth Market across the street. We got breakfast from there every morning. Old Silver beach, just minutes away, was great… with white powdery sand. We loved it and would definitely come back!

Labor Day weekend at Old Silver
My family of 5 rented the house for the long Labor Day weekend. The house is in a great location, just across the street from the awesome West Falmouth Market and a short drive to Chappy and Old Silver beaches. The house was very clean and well appointed with all the basics covered. Check in was a breeze and Markie was kind enough to let us push our check out back a couple hours to squeeze some extra time in at the beach! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. The beds are very firm and would have loved to have a dresser in the primary bedroom, but we would definitely stay again.

Just Perfect
Everything about this rental was perfect. Location was great. Being across the street from the market was handy for morning coffee. It was also close to Chapoquoit beach. The house felt brand new. Had everything we could need and owners very responsive. A perfect getaway for our family of 5. Hope to be back next year.

Clean, Cozy, Well-Situated West Falmouth Cottage
We highly recommend this clean, cozy, and well-furnished cottage in West Falmouth. The owners, who live next door to the unit, were wonderful people and tremendously helpful in so many respects - for instance, offering us their beach chairs and umbrella when we were in need. We comfortably fit six adults within the cottage, although that may be the limit of what we would suggest. The cottage is conveniently located across the street from a versatile market where we could seemingly find whatever we wanted in terms of food and groceries, and it is only 10-15 minutes from the Falmouth Town Center and Woods Hole, where you can find great shops and high-quality restaurants. Finally, while the cottage is only a mile or two from Chapoquoit Beach and Old Silver Beach, it does cost money to park at those locations. We instead elected to go to Falmouth Heights Beach, only 10-12 minutes away and free to park. We greatly enjoyed it. We cannot say enough good things about this rental. We hope to return.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay on the Cape. I really felt that Falmouth was the right family friendly location for all of us. The owners of the property couldn’t have been nicer. We would highly recommend staying here and plan on doing so again in the future.

Perfect Cape base camp
We stayed here an entire glorious week, exploring the western Cape by (rented) bike, by car and on foot. The beautifully appointed, thoughtfully equipped and conveniently located house was a great place to cook, grill, and chill on hot sunny days and on the one rainy one we had. Beautifully landscaped and cared for, with comfortable beds and seating options, our family of five can’t wait to return! Thanks for the pineapple, fresh tomatoes and neighborly chat, Markie!

Great Location with a catch
Location was perfect. Exactly where we wanted to be. The issue is that the house is very small. Although the listing says it can sleep 8, six felt crowded. The common space has room for no more than 4 at a time. Finally, the mattresses were horrible. One full star lost for just the horrible beds. All six of us struggled to sleep. Every bed was the same and needs to be replaced.

Quaint, comfortable home in west Cape
Updated home with all the creature comforts and amenities (fresh linens, nautical theme, spacious bedrooms, streaming access, et al.). Great location, right across the street from West Falmouth Market (packed with all your food needs - grocery, sandwiches, pizza, alcohol, et al.) and next door to an amazing ice cream shop, Eulinda’s. Our first time on the Cape was great!

Great hosts and awesome rental. Well equipped kitchen for cooking on site. Plenty of towels and beach towels. 20 min walk to Chapoquoit beach and short drive to old silver; the market across the street has many staples and only 10 min to downtown.
