"Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. "Overall, this met all of our needs and then some. We loved the renovated cabin and the convenient location. We didn’t love how loud it was with the traffic zooming by, but it didn’t bother us enough to affect our stay. Our kids enjoyed the games provided and the cozy beds. We were a bit fearful of the loft area as there is a spot where the kids could fall over if they weren’t being careful.
