"We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was exactly as advertised and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of this retreat near the mountains. The only thing we missed in the room was a microwave which would have been a welcome addition to the amenities. All in all though it was a great stay!"

"Liked the vinyl flooring Liked the sink and shower soaps TV was tricky to use but managed to do it. There was some voices from the floor above in the middle of the night. "

"I think there should be instructions in the room to get the Wi-Fi, turn on the tv and control the heat. There was mention of someone upstairs who could help but no information as to how you would contact him."

"This was like stepping into a different time and place. The house, although dated, has a seamless European vibe with fixtures and details that are uncommon, authentic and charming. The home was obviously much loved and cared-for when it was built and is an absolutely perfect summer home. The location is so beautiful, overlooking the turquoise water of ghost lake with multiple patios from which to take in the view. We went with friends and cooked gourmet meals together in the open kitchen then feasted at the big dining room table that is the focal point of the main floor. It was delightful. The place has also seen better days... The grounds are not well cared-for with lots of dead plants, most things are quite worn-out, with broken stairs to the water and a completely buckled and inaccessible dock. Even with all of that, we still just loved this place for its uniqueness and character. "
