"The accommodation is well suited for two couples. The bedrooms are equally sized although only the master has an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary dishes and appliances. There is no table so we ate at the island or on the couch. The internet was good allowing us to work online although privacy is limited as there is no soundproofing in the unit. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood overlooking Swan Lake which we enjoyed however it is impossible not to hear...

"This is our 3rd year staying in the Orchard house during the winter, using it as a base for skiing at Silverstar/Sovereign Lake. We return because we get the best of both worlds; easy access to excellent Nordic skiing and the restaurants/bakery in Vernon. Our hosts are great communicators, the beds are comfy and the location next to the BX trails can't be beat. We recommend it to anyone who wants a low-key, comfy post-adventure house."

"Such a beautiful property. Fully gated backyard and a gate between the yard and the water. Lots of yard games and the kayaks were great! The water was wonderful and the lake was calm and peaceful. Well stocked home with wonderful character in the decor. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.
