"The place was difficult to find but with some assistance from a local we were able to locate it. The hospitality was good and room clean but unfortunately there was no heating in the room, were very cold first night. Without asking the 2nd night an additional blanket was added but we were colder than the first night. The next morning we had breakfast, I tried locating the owner could not find her,so I left her note letting her know that we were seeking other arrangements and would not be staying...

"The apartment was spotless, spacious and equipped with everything and more. The location is perfect to walk to all the main sightseeing spots in Porto Historic Center. Staff was very friendly and attentive and helped us hit the main spots in Porto. The only thing is be prepared to struggle to find free parking on the street or to pay 30 euros per day for a parking spot at the hotel garage. "

"A lovely apartment hotel near to the market and public transport. A lot of great local bars and restaurants very nearby. I would not hesitate to stay again. Up to you if you want the breakfast, it’s fairly basic and there are such nice cafes and bakeries near by you could pop out for fresh pastry and the like easily every morning. "

"Staff very helpful and friendly. Room (Queen bed on 4th floor) was clean and well presented with an excellent shower. However, Room needed some brighter lighting, preferably ceiling light and a chair for the foldaway desk. Arms on the bed could do with a good scrub / replace and no coffee or tea, despite a kettle in the room? If you leave the hotel and turn left towards up the hill you’ll find shops, bars and restaurants leading down the high street which is pedestrianised (Rua de Santa Catarina). However, if you turn right out if the hotel you get a fair amount of homeless people and street drinking esp under the nearby flyover roads. "
