Remote and peaceful
Clean, remote and very peaceful. Cabin turned out exactly as we hoped: tucked away in the peaceful mountains on a private property. Was great to just relax around the fire pit, with a fishing pond with trout right next to us, and beautiful chimney rock just 20min away for great views and hiking. Tammy, our host, was excellent from the initial communication during booking, to assisting during our stay. Will definitely be back!

Weekend getaway to the mountains
Very pleasant stay at this cabin over the weekend. For myself and my two daughters we had plenty of room in this cabin. It fit well for our needs and it's so close to Chimney Rock State park. Enjoyed going to the park for the day and coming back and doing some fishing in the pond. Overall, a nice clean quiet cabin and look forward to getting back here soon.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of this super cute place. It has all the basics. Close enough to Lake Lure/Chimney Rock in a private setting. Will definitely consider going back

Even better than we hoped for!
Very peaceful and private, with only one neighbor in sight. It appears to be a brand new unit as well. It's small but doesn't feel like it, and has pretty much everything you need. My husband and I wanted to see what it was like to "live tiny" and this unit is very liveable. Water pressure is good, and it tastes great too. It's a beautiful location and worth going to, just be sure you're aware that the roads are curvy and steep in some parts. I got mildly carsick the first time we arrived but quickly got used to the ride for the rest of the week. Despite being quite a drive up the mountain it's a great location with grocery store and restaurants nearby, and of course tons of hiking. Owner sells firewood for a good price, and also has a boat to rent. We would definitely visit again!
