The Space:
Floor to ceiling windows on the main level provides lots of natural light, and three double French doors open to create an open-air space. A gourmet chef’s kitchen provides everything you need to make a delicious meal. It features a toaster oven, convection oven, electric cooktop, air fryer, and Keurig with a variety of pods for you to choose from. Light grab-and-go breakfast is provided (oatmeal’s, granola bars, and protein bars). The living area has a 65 inch Sony smart tv with access to all your favorite apps for streaming, as well as Sonos surround sound and Alexa devices for your listening pleasure. Sofa reclines fully for a comfortable sleeping arrangement for a fifth guest. Indoor dining for six can be found off this main level as well. Cocktail and wine glasses make it an elevated experience.
The main level boasts an expansive main suite retreat with romantic fireplace insert, 65 inch Sony smart tv, Sonos surround sound, and king size bed. The en-suite main bath features a step in shower and jacuzzi tub.
Just outside off the main level you will find a wrap-around deck for soaking up the sun and one-of-a-kind WNC views of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountain Range and Echo Lake. There is a fire table, sun lounging chairs, conversation seating, and an outdoor dining table. There is also a lower deck that can be accessed via a set of outdoor stairs, as well as an inground wood-burning fire pit. You won't run out of places to enjoy the scenery! A Weber gas grill and grill utensils are also available for your use.
Upstairs you will find a loft with library and work space, as well as a second King-size bedroom and on-suite bath. The bedroom is private with its own locking door/entrance, and includes a 65 inch smart tv and Sonos surround sound. In the library there is an additional couch with recliners for napping or additional guest.
Just over 20 minutes to either Asheville or Black Mountain. Approximately 15 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway and 30 minutes to nearby hiking, Bearwallow Mountain in Gerton and Lookout Mountain in Montreat.
Additional House Rules:
-Absolutely no smoking/vaping indoors. Designated outdoor areas for smoking. Please use ashtray provided.
-One small dog 35 lbs or under is permitted for an additional non-refundable pet fee of $100/stay.
-Observed quiet time all days of the week 10 pm - 8 am.
-No illegal activities or drugs on premises.
-Please treat this home as if it were your own and notify host immediately if anything is broken or damaged.
-Early or late check out is only permissible on a case-by-case basis. Host reserves the right to charge hourly up to $50/hour late check out or early check-in. We need to make sure our cleaners have enough time to properly clean and sanitize in-between guests.
-We do provide large bottles of shampoos, conditioners, body washes, etc. for your use while visiting. These are to be left for the next guests to use also and are not considered guest parting gifts. Host reserves the right to charge for missing products.
-Host is not responsible for lost or left behind belongings.
-Assistance animals must be made known in advance and will be subject to verification.
Directions:
From Asheville, take Charlotte Hwy approx. 4 miles, turn onto Old Fort Rd., travel approx. 7.2 miles on Old Fort Rd., veer right onto Davey Crockett Rd. Follow Davey Crockett Rd. .8 miles until it splits, veer right at sign for Baker's Bluff. You will drive past another home on your right until the gravel road dead ends at 151 Davey Crockett.
From Black Mountain, take NC-9 approx. 5 miles. Turn right onto Chestnut Hill Rd. Take a sharp left turn onto Davey Crockett Rd.
