Moose Mountain Lodge was built with old-timey charm from hand-hewn 12" Douglas fur logs. The centerpiece of the great room is an antique bar back from 1910. It was fully restored for this cabin. It also has an antique wagon wheel light fixture in the kitchen that was used in a 1950s John Wayne movie. You will also find an antique brass bed that was manufactured in Chicago in 1905.
The Cabin has a fully equipped Kitchen, a spacious dining table, a beautiful wood-burning stone fireplace, and a steam shower in the Master bedroom. This cabin basement also has a gaming station, an air hockey game, and a 70-inch plasma TV for watching movies or playing games with the family.
Lastly, the kitchen has a nice surprise with a 1930s replica stove that offers all modern amenities. These special features give you a true, old-timey log cabin experience.
Easy access to the hot tub via the basement door offers a beautiful star filled sky. It's a perfect way to finish a full day of skiing, biking, or hiking.
There are hiking and snow-shoe trails right off the back patio. For your convenience, we have outfitted the cabin with snowshoes and snow toboggans for your family to enjoy. There is also world-class trout fishing all around this area. You can even fish on the back side of the property in the Summer/Fall.
