The cottage house is positioned opposite the majestic Fairhaven beach with surf literally breaking right below you. . The ocean view was outstanding, access to an adjoining residences deck provide 180degree views. The property itself was filthy, the crockery and glassware was putrid-I resorted to buying my own to refrain from having to use it, the couch was so putrid I couldn’t sit on it, bedding was stained and the buttons on the bottom were missing which meant the doona fell out, the floors were visibly dirty, left over cardimone spice in the pantry resulted in the entire cottage stinking like Indian spice despite having all doors/windows open, cobwebs and filthy windows. When advising the company was provided with excuses, told the dishes were washed in the non existent dishwasher and made to feel like I was incorrect and inaccurate in my experience and photo evidence! Was not given stay 3, pay 2 deal as advertised. Definitely not worth $550-600 a night
