"Couldn’t be happier with our stay. The place was exactly as described and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We didn’t have a ton of time there since we were competing at the Virginia horse center but the time we did have was super relaxing. My son and I even had time for a little fishing. The stars at night are amazing "

"We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin in the beautiful Virginia woods. It was such a cozy, comfortable place to enjoy a winter weekend. Its close proximity to Lexington made it even better. We hope to visit again and see this beautiful place in another season. An all around 5 star experience!"

"We traveled X-country from TX to meet up with our adult daughter & her partner, who traveled down from NJ, and we decided that western Virginia was a good place to hold our reunion just before Christmas. We were lucky to find Bud's Place. It is a lovely home, nicely decorated for Christmas, & there were plenty of spaces for us to be together to eat, play, or hang out, as well as places for us to retreat to for some privacy or work. "The date of my stay was Sun Feb 9 - Tues Feb 11, 2025. It was a great place to stay with beautiful views. Our stay was short. We were there for my son to participate in WASI- Wintergreen Alpine Special Invitational. Travel to the Mountain Inn for ski competition and celebration was easy. I really enjoyed having the full kitchen so we could make breakfast each day. The washer and dryer were helpful for keeping ski bibs clean and dry."
