Tucked away, yet very close to interstate 85 is a almost 3 bd cute cabin , high speed internet, sleep 6, with a flat walk to a private beach, covered dock and two kayaks. no stairs to climb and a sandy beach. Only 35 min to clemson and “Shores of Asbury” water park, 35 min to Anderson/Clemson, 90 min from Atlanta, 1hour away from Greenville - it’s a perfect place to enjoy a sunset or a fun day of golfing, fishing, swimming and boating with family and friends. Working remotely? High speed internet in now available. For larger groups we have another property couple of houses down. The Property is ID 2905127

Bring your boat ( landing 5 min away) or rent from C&E marine ( 5 min by boat) or Harbor Lights Marina 10 min away. Port Bass public boat ramp 0.5 miles away on Arrington Dr.

Open living room / kitchen area is a great place to relax and watch a game on a Smart. There is a also a screened in porch and a spacious deck with 270 degree water views of the lake.

Almost three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a King bed and a work desk. Second bedroom has a queen set with twin bunk beds in a separated area overlooking the lake. There is one bathroom. Kitchen is fully equipped.

There is a griddle on the deck - cookout with beautiful view of the lake. Bed linens, towels and other amenities provided.

Great pizza place ( peace of the pie), spotted pig BBQ and craft brewery 8 mins away.

No smoking. Absolutely no pets. If you are not compliant you will lose your deposit

High speed fiber cable + Wi-Fi

You can rent a boat at C&E marine, landing at Tugaloo, 3 min by boat, or lift harbor marina ( 10 min by boat)

In the summer, due to lake water level variation, the beginning of the gangway may be in the water

Boat landing: There is one in Port Bass on Arrington dr, and one at Tugaloo State Park on Highway 11, 1 mile from interstate 85.

Lake house
The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the quiet mornings on the deck on the back. We caught a few fish from the covered deck. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency and had to leave earlier. I would recommend this cabin to people who are looking for a relaxing long weekend/vacation around a lake.

Lovely Spot on Lake Hartwell!
I would definitely stay again. We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the wonderful lake view. (There is a large oak tree that hangs over the deck. Great for shade, but not so much for leaves, twigs & acorns. If you're driving from home, you may want to put a leaf blower on your list.) Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. The only problem was I couldn't figure out how to find the Braves game on the Roku TV. : ) We did enjoy eating at the Spotted Pig BBQ and Tilly's Tiki Bar during our stay.

Great Little Cabin!
This was a great cabin for our family of 5. The cabin was clean with a very well stocked kitchen (always a big plus in my opinion!). We had access to plenty of linens, and the washer/dryer were useful to have. The grill and patio were well enjoyed by our family, as were all the board games at the end of a long day boating. I’ve been to plenty of lake houses that require a long steep walk down to the dock, so we loved the easy stroll here! This is a wider part of the lake and the dock is not in a cove, so there is a lot of boat traffic…make sure to bring plenty of bumpers if you’re tying off a boat! There is a marina with gas about 10 minutes away by boat.

Fishing Excursion
Great location for a fishing excursion with friends! We arrived prior to check-in time to drop off our boat and met the cleaning crew in the driveway. They were so friendly, allowed us to back the boat in, allowed us to check the amenities, and gave us lunch recommendations. The property was close to the boat launch, had a covered dock, and kayaks. Teenage boys had a blast, great lake/location for fishing, all-in-all very happy with the property and our stay.

Property and house was nice and clean! We enjoyed being able to fish on the dock and watch the sunset over the lake. Property manager was very responsive with any questions we had. We didn’t use any of the readily available lake items, but we will definitely be back and bring our kids to enjoy!

Awesome place to stay
I took my son and friends here for his 10th birthday. The house was equipped with everything it was cleaned and smelled so fresh! We enjoys grilling on the back deck fishing and family time. 3 day stay, great location for a relaxing vacation. Only sleeps about 5-6 people comfortably. Experience was great with the property owners communication, and everything met our expectations. Note there's a ton of red clay on the lake. Make sure to wash off as best you can while in the lake.

Needs work. Has possibilities.
My husband and I both remodel properties. This property, if cleaned up, painted, refreshed, would be a great property. It definitely has a lot of possibilities. Unfortunately, right now it needs a lot of work. When you first walk in and it smells very musty. The entire inside needs to be painted, walls and ceilings. It looks like it hasn’t been touched in years. The bathroom has been attempted to be remodelled. The light fixtures are definitely out of date. there were a lot of LED bulbs in the old fixtures which really don’t operate properly. The sofa is a hide-a-bed sofa and evidently when it was brought in, it was broken and the front leans down to where you feel like you’re sitting on the floor. The loveseat is missing its legs so you are sitting on the floor, almost. The king size bed was comfortable, but it too is missing its legs, so it’s very low to the ground. There was a lot of mildew on the deck. The screen porch had a lot of mildew and mould on it. A good pressure washing would take care of that. The best thing about it was the dock. really nice dock. sunsets were beautiful and the fishing was good too. I will say this, the owner was very, very, nice. We had a bad storm one night and we lost power for a few hours. She came down first thing the next morning to check on us to make sure everything was alright. She’s very conscientious and, In time, this is going to be a really, really nice property. I wish her all the best. if we go to the area again I would, at least, find out if some things had been updated, and if so, stay there again!!
