Feathered Nest at Fellows Lake w/ Indoor POOL!

STUNNINGLY UPDATED home on 2 serene acres. 20 minutes north of downtown Springfield & only a 5-minute walk to Fellows Lake Marina & Biking/Hiking Trails. This entire estate is HEAVEN ON EARTH! Perfect for group gatherings or a romantic get-away!
Note: The owners live in a backyard barndominium, and will be as available as needed, but invisible otherwise. The driveway is the only shared space so you will have the entire house and pool to yourselves!
A perfect place for family gatherings and making wonderful memories together!
The main level has a private queen bedroom, and a second bedroom with a queen and a double bed, then across the hallway is a bathroom with double vanities and a combination shower/jetted tub which passes through the sauna room and into the swimming pool area.
Also on the main level is a spacious living room, game room area, kitchen, dining room, laundry room, and half bath.
Upstairs is a second living area with a pool table, 2 twin beds and 4 foutons, and TWO luxurious master bedrooms!
First, there is a 1000 square-foot main master bedroom with a king bed, a daybed, and a pull out loveseat plus lots of extra floor mattresses in the closet, along with a kitchenette, massage table, a star-gazing patio with seating for two, and a massive bathroom with a sprawling soaker tub for two and a wall TV for your relaxing entertainment.
The second upstairs master has a king bed, two twin beds, and a comfortable chaise lounge, and another full bathroom with double vanities and a steam shower, and a staircase that leads directly into the sauna room/swimming pool area. Our guests describe the house as “an amazing architectural wonder“ and “a beautiful blend of luxury and homeyness!“
Guests will have the entire 6000 ft.² house to themselves. Owners Shannon & Charlie live in a barndominium in the back yard, so they can be as readily available as needed, but completely invisible otherwise!
Feel free to call or text with any needs at all! We also have assistants that live across the street that can help in our absence.
Fellows Lake Marina is a 5-minute walk, and the hiking and biking trails take you 13 miles around the Fellows Lake area. Stunningly beautiful.
There’s plenty of parking behind a security fence surrounding the 2 acre property. We are 20 minutes from downtown Springfield.
Base price is for up to 10 people max, then additional guests are $20 per person per night.

Our family reunion was held in this beautiful home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to hold it. There was plenty of space for everyone to be together or to find a quieter place if being in the crowd was too much. The hosts are easily available if needed but things were set up so well that we didn’t need much! It is a week my entire family will remember fondly! We are thankful for such a great place to stay!

Magnificent property
This place is amazing! We have a large family and it accommodated everyone with room to spare! Loved the large kitchen and we all were able to fit around the dining table. The indoor pool was wonderful for the kids and the large yard with beautiful trees allowed them to run around and play. The hosts had thought of everything! And they are super nice and helpful! I highly recommend this property!!

We had a large group celebrating college graduation which included people from ages 6-82 and this property was absolutely perfect for it. I wish we would have looked more into the what the nearby park and lake had to offer.

FBLA State Conference
Fantastic place to stay! Very accommodating, house is beautiful and even better in real life. We had 8 students and 2 adults for 2 nights for our FBLA state conference in Springfield. The house was perfect. 16 of my own family plus my sister and her 3 for a total of 20 under one roof. It was like being at home. Everything and more right at your fingertips for entertaining, cooking all 3 meals, to swimming for the kids. We even had our family dog. This place was amazing and was the right fit for 8 ladies to scrapbook and get a little crazy. The pool area was wonderful and the whole place was very quiet. Except for us!! Only issues we had were figuring out the light switches, the temperature settings and an oven too small to cook meals.
