We were able to drive to Lucca, Florence, Pisa, the train to go to Cinque Terra and explore the local area, The location was fantastic. The countryside is just so beautiful. "The quiet setting of this old farmhouse provided a calm retreat from the hectic days of sightseeing. Giacomo was a gracious host, meeting us when we arrived, giving us numerous helpful tips about sightseeing and restaurants, things to do and places to see. The spacious bedrooms of the house and views of the countryside are beautiful. There are stairs to negotiate, and having a vehicle is helpful. "

"Happy to recommend Simona's property. An excellent location as a base to visit the surrounding area and beyond...and just to walk out of the door and enjoy walks in the immediate locality. A very comfortable apartment to return to and spend time in... it's a great location in Aquilea. Supermarket close by... and a ' negozio alimentari' and bar in Aquilea ( unfortunately the owners went on holiday the day I arrived, so cannot comment further ). Simona is very helpful re local information and potential sightseeing. "

"The home is a beautiful Italian villa. It is extremely well equipped with everything one needs. The accomodations are very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is large and fully equipped for everything you will need. The pool area is amazing but the water is a little cool. Amazing views from the home in every corner of the property. Only difficult part is the drive up the mountain to the house and the steep driveway. After a few trips, the drive becomes easier. Great communication with the owner and the neighbor was extremely helpful and informative. We would love to come back and miss be there already."
