"This is a wonderful property, close to many famous sights, feels safe, and there are many restaurants, but what I didn’t like this time when I came back was that the receptionist told me to pay for parking when I was checking out, and I didn’t request parking. In fact, I didn’t have my car with me. I flew in. But she insisted I had to pay, but only let it go when I said I’m going to the airport, what parking? She never apologized for this mistake on the hotel’s part. Unacceptable. "

"Like all Intercity hotels, the Berlin hotel is only a few yards from the main station, which means it's a great hub for exploring Berlin. The fact that all Intercity hotels offer a ticket for free public travel on trains, buses and trams can't be understated - we used ours every day, including on the train back to the airport. "The hotel is overpriced. Looked better online than it really is. Still a great hotel, though. Clean and comfortable. The gym is not good, very basic and lacks weights. Same as the sauna - it wasn't even working most of the days I stayed there. The phone in the room wasn't working, so I couldn't call the receptionist anytime. The breakfast is VERY average and super overpriced, it also looked much better online than it truly is. The area though is amazing, very central and easy to get around. "
