So glad we stayed at the InterContinental Resort Tahiti, as we met up with some other couples (also on the cruise we had been on with) staying elsewhere, not as happy as we were.

"Room was very hot on arrival and took a long time to cool off. Basic room. If arriving from airport you should eat at airport first. I didn’t eat and the hotel only sells snacks so no dinner options. They do a breakfast but I didn’t try it. My room did have a fridge which was nice."

It reminded me of Mexico. Trash and junk everywhere. Everything was run down and dirty. Not the "paradise" you think of. Only some of the resorts on Tahiti are nice and clean and kept up.
