"I liked the bedroom with mini fridge tea/coffee making items. I liked the large shower and the fact it was quiet and warm. I didnt like small cups i think mugs would be better. The extractor fan in bathroom didnt work, there is a little mold around the shower tray. The bathroom floor needs grouting in parts. The garden is a big eyesore full of weeds etc not useable for anyone staying. The whole property was spotlessly clean. I had no english tea bags in my room but found some in the kitchen...

"A short, two night, break at The Barn was very homely and relaxing. The weather didn’t behave but that didn’t dampen a lovely and welcoming stay. The host was first class with communication which is always a bonus. Highly recommend this property."

"The Annex is absolutely stunning, clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. Chris and Liz are warm and friendly hosts who are available if you need anything and have put together a lovely environment to stay. "The neighborhood is fantastic. It is about a 20 walk to downtown Oxford. The neighborhood pub across the street has an incredible feel and the food is outstanding. We did have issues with communicating with the host, he was just slow in his replys. The owner was on site and very friendly, she took care of any issues we had. "Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."

Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water...

"We had a great stay in the Cotswolds. There is such a lot to do in this area. The house in Moreton-in-Marsh was in a great location, although on a busy road. There was only one parking space so this was quite inconvenient. The house had spacious bedrooms but not such roomy reception rooms. The house showed some wear and tear and was fitted in a basic way. However, it was perfectly adequate for a short stay and our whole family enjoyed our stay."

"A lovely 2 day break at the lakes, so peaceful and relaxing. Spa is great too and we pretty much had it to ourselves most of the time. Food in the tipi was also great, would have liked to have seen some more sweet breakfast and healthy options though. It would also be great if there was an on-site shop to buy any groceries/essentials to save having to drive elsewhere."

"We were pleasantly surprised. It was a lovely stay. Good nights sleep, quiet and safe. It does need updating but it was clean and comfortable. Shame pool and gym is only open in the morning. We couldn't go after checkinh in. 20 min walk to town. Not so bad for the price. "
