"Great overnight stay in large comfortable room. Drinks and food a little pricey but hey-ho"

"Hintlesham Hall was an extravagance for us, but worth every penny. We stayed in a very large room in the stable block with a sofa and easy chair. The service in the hotel was excellent, attentive (but not too much!) Breakfasts were good and the dinners excellent - consistently good food across the menu - three of us ate three dinners and everything we chose was beautifully cooked and presented. The grounds are lovely, and it would be great to sit outside at a warmer time of year. There were several lovely rooms to sit indoors, though. The afternoon teas looked delicious, but as we had eaten so well at breakfast we enjoyed delicious tea and scones to tide us over until dinner. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough."

"Very warm welcome, both for us humans and especially the dog (complimentary bed/treats and dog bowl for her use during the stay). Dog welcomed throughout the hotel including main restaurant. Meal at dinner was excellent as was breakfast. Warm, spotlessly clean room, well appointed, close to the bar/restaurant and had a convenient small garden space for the dog's convenience. We'll be coming back. "

"Was really convenient for visiting Snape Maltings for an evening concert. Room overlooking the golf course was clean and quiet, plenty of parking on site, would certainly use as a base for visiting an outstandingly beautiful are of Suffolk again in the near future."

"The staff were polite , helpful , friendly and informative , the food was delicious both the evening meal and breakfast , the pool facilities were great including a hot tub and steam room. The gym has plenty of equipment to use. The bedroom was adequate though the bed could do with a new mattress. The bathroom was good. The outside of the hotel could do with maintenance , updating, repairing and looking after. The decor on the inside however has some beautiful features, furniture and ornaments. "
