"We had a brilliant stay and we would certainly recommend. Lovely location. Really peaceful and green. Plenty of parking. Check in was fast and friendly. Room was excellent. Spacious. Comfortable. Really nice and quiet. No disturbance or noise at all. Spotlessly clean. Great shower. Will certainly return!! "

"Just a one night stop over. Room alot smaller than looked on website , cramped in comparison to other hotels have used Poor outlook , just luck of the draw i guess with that Limited wardeobe space Shower leaked badly from corner and flooded bathroom Bed lovely and big and comfy The hotel itself lovely but not impressed with room , would not stop again due to this sadly "

"Great location. Handy for the station and about 10-15 minutes walk into the City Centre Noisy in the morning with the cleaning staff calling to eachother, doors banging, etc. 9.00am on a Sunday felt way too early to be listening to all that. NB I thought I had chosen a room with a bath - apparently you have to specify that as a "special request" 🙄 "

"Excellent attentive staff. Quick response to get maintenance to sort out the TV. Great breakfast. The room was a bit tired, paint peeling off, a cracked sink, and bird mess covering the bathroom window."

"The Barn was a comfortable enough stay for the one night, although the hotel is a little tired and in need of some refurbishment. The pool, sauna and steam room were nice enough. The food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. There was a small mix up with the wine i ordered but that was put right. I was wakened at 07:00 by noise outside my room. Overall a pleasant enough stay though."

"The experience we had was very positive. The man on reception was very efficient and friendly. He was extremely helpful and kept our luggage and did the check in for us as we arrived early and wouldn't be back till later. The room had everything we needed very clean a good size and the shower powerful. The breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. All the staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. "Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host! "

"The rooms are on the small side and so are the bathrooms but the bed was very comfortable and had some nice touches. Tea and coffee and biscuits. The menu wasn’t great but what we had was quite good. "
