This lovely 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home is located near downtown Exeter, making it the perfect location for your next trip to the Central Valley! A long stroll or quick drive will take you to coffee, restaurants, and shops. Whether you want to drive up to the Sequoias, go on a scenic Three Rivers hike, or just relax on your vacation, bring the whole family to stay at this amazing home!

The Space

The sweetest two-bedroom duplex walking distance to Downtown Exeter shops, eateries, coffee, and microbreweries! Interested in reserving both sides of the duplex? Reach out to us to make that happen! This is the perfect amount of space for two couples, friends, or large family.  Call this place home while visiting the National Parks, in town for a marathon, wedding, or just enjoying the peaceful agricultural center of the world. Known for its abundance of citrus trees, intricate murals, and prime location at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, Exeter is one of the top ten places to live and love in California!

Guest Access

Though it's a duplex, guests have a private entrance and a completely private space.  One wall is shared.  This is the larger unit with two bedrooms located in the front. The backyard is fully fenced, enjoy relaxing with your iced coffee on a hot day!  Guests may utilize free street parking, and have unlimited access to Wifi! The home features washer/dryer, heating and cooling. *Note: the backyard does not include a grassy area and there is no garage.

Neighborhood description

Just blocks from restaurants, shopping, and all the charm downtown Exeter has to offer, this is the perfect escape for few couples, a family, or a group of friends traveling to Sequoia National Park, Lake Kaweah, or just in town to visit family and friends in the central valley. Traveling professionals welcome! Exeter is known for its quaint small town feel, murals throughout the town, incredible brunch at Cafe Lafayette, and popular Rocky Hill marathon events and training. Christmas is the most magical time of the year as the town comes alive with festivities! In the summer, we often have outdoor concerts in the park a short walk from the house, and a great farmer's market in nearby Visalia every Saturday morning! A short stroll will take you to Bellcraft MicroBrewery, Exeter Coffee Co., and Wildflower Cafe- all Exeter staples that people come from miles away to enjoy!

House Rules

1. Communication is key! Check-in after 4pm. Check out by 11am. Our office hours are between 8am-9pm, so please communicate between those hours and let us know if you plan to arrive after 9pm.
2. Honesty is the best policy! Let us know about ALL guests who will be coming to the house. Maximum Occupancy is 6. Animals require a $100 non-refundable pet fee. 2 well-behaved dogs max. Dogs must have their own kennel/sleeping arrangement. Please pick up after your pet. There is an additional guest fee of $20/person/night after the amount of 2 guests.
3. No parties! No smoking of any kind. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking, smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.
4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (patio, bbq, etc.) and other provided amenities, please clean up after yourself so the next guests can enjoy them as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it.
5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember.  We'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time!
6. Be a good neighbor! Please park the correct way in the designated parking space in front of the unit. Keep quiet hours in mind.  Thank you!

Very Pleasant Stay
Property was well maintained and furniture comfortable. The outdoor sitting area was nicely landscaped and great for sitting outside in the evenings. Just a couple of suggestions: a bath mat for the shower = floor gets wet after shower and is a slipping hazard. The front bedroom bed is too high to get onto - I'm 5"10" and I had difficulty getting into bed. Need a step stool or lower bed frame. Also a front door mat would prevent tracking in dirt. Otherwise the rental is great and I would reserve again.

Nice stay
We had a really nice stay overall. The property was very nice, just like the pictures, it was located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house had everything we needed for our stay and everything was clean. The back room had a foosball table which made for some fun time with the kids. We also got to relax around a fire pit on the spacious backyard. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend the place to anyone.
