"A nice hotel in a good area, I found the staff really helpful and friendly. The rooms are a bit dated but that’s ok, it was comfortable and clean, had a lovely view of the river. Great choice for breakfast. Had an evening meal which was also good. Happily stay again "

I requested a ground floor room; I was told it would open onto the car park which is in a secure off-street courtyard, but that was actually very convenient for me. Good breakfast. "It was wonderful. The room and grounds were beautiful. There was a shuttle that took us into town so we didn’t have to worry about driving at night after enjoying the pub. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. "

"This hotel is convenient for visiting the city centre, cathedral and shops. My only criticism is that we were not forewarned about off site chargeable parking. This is not clear on the Hotel.com website. Staff and facilities at the hotel can't be faulted."
