"We staid in the Holm Oak Barn, this is a very roomy place. The bedrooms are quite large and have a plenty of root to maneuver around. There’s a bathtub in one room, a standing shower in another and a handicap bathroom in the master bedroom. The beds are comfortable and pleasant to sleep in. The kitchen has all the pots & pans you would need, with plenty of utensils. The location is certainly located to a few towns and makes it easy to run out for food and groceries. "This place is outstanding. It’s a lovely location in a quiet village a few minutes walk away to the shop and pub and within minutes your in the countryside exploring the WWII history on offer. It’s very quiet and safe and free parking right outside the door. The cottage is very nice and is a mixture of modern bits mixed with old but has a very well stocked kitchen, a large comfy living area, a down stairs bathroom and toilet and two upstairs bedrooms. I will definitely be back."

"My son and his girlfriend stayed here and they loved their stay. They loved having a fire in the evenings to make them feel cozy. The bed was very comfy and they had great sleep. Everything was there that they needed it was absolutely perfect for the two of them. It was great as they could leave car there and walk into town. Thank you "

"Shingle Cottage is lovely, it felt stylish and cosy all at the same time. It’s in a rural location, perfect for country walks and exploring the nearby towns and villages. We couldn’t have wanted for a nicer place to stay. "

"A cosy and well equipped cottage in a beautiful Suffolk village. We stayed whilst our house was having some building works and it made the perfect “home away from home”. Any very minor issues (plumbing) sorted straight away by the very helpful property manager. Would highly recommend."

"Provides everything you would expect from this type of holiday. Great cottage (apart from the wifi speed, but that's a reflection of having a home in the city!). A very welcoming package - wine, chocolates, flowers and a superb lemon drizzle cake. Overall - very very good."

A lovely lit patio patio area to enjoy a drink on warm summers night.

"My partner and myself stayed here for 2 nights. The pod it's self is tidy, clean, small kitchenette with microwave and toaster, also there is a breakfast hamper, the fridge is stocked with the basics. The pod opens out onto a beautifully kept Japanese garden with Koi pond. Ian and Caz are great hosts and are at the end of a text or call if there are any problems. There is also a hot tub available which just topped off this amazing little retreat. Myself and Darren will definately be coming back....
