BriVera in the Mountains--Mountain, Ski & Lake Escape

Brivera in the Mountains is a beautiful log cabin nestled on a private lot with views of the Bigelow Mountains and Flagstaff Lake. This spacious 4-bedroom (+sleeping loft), 3-bathroom cabin is perfect for families and groups, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests.

The house is equipped with cable, 5G high-speed WiFi, and good cell service. Outside, you will find a wrap-around porch with a large, covered section for gear storage and plenty of seating. The front porch has a grill, great views, a 6-person table, and a swing/chairs to enjoy your morning coffee. The firepit offers a great space for outdoor relaxation.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern amenities. You will have everything you need to cook and serve your meals. We provide basic spices and starter tea and coffee. There is a large table inside and ample seating outside for all guests. The kitchen table looks out over the front deck and has amazing sunrise views that light up the cabin.

The main floor features an open-concept design, a large sectional couch, a recliner and a locally made rocking chair! For indoor days, Brivera offers a 60" smart TV with cable. The center table in the living room is stocked with games and is our favorite place to play checkers, cribbage and build puzzles! You’ll also find the master bedroom (with a King bed) and bathroom with tub/shower on this level.

The second floor offers an open loft area with a queen bed and a nice view of Flagstaff Lake out the window. Down the hall, you’ll find bedroom 2 with a Queen bed, high ceilings, and plenty of storage. This floor also has a full bathroom with shower/tub.

The lower level has a full kitchen, dining area, and a King bed in the living room-think "studio style". There is a TV and exit out to a covered porch with nice views of the yard. You’ll also find another bedroom with Full/Full bunk beds with a twin trundle bed in addition to a ¾ bath. There is laundry room with a washer/dryer for your convenience. It’s a great separate living area that is perfect for hosting two families with their own space and convenience.

Situated on a quiet road, this home offers a spacious backyard area, ample parking space for ATV/Snowmobile trailers, and a covered porch for storage of fishing gear and bikes. In late spring, summer, and fall, there is a handmade rock firepit in the backyard with seating and an outdoor dining table on the porch. You can cook dinner on the gas grill. It is very private and quiet.

Guest access

The cabin house is a single-family cabin home and is only occupied by you and your registered guests. Reservations for up to 12 guests.

We have contactless check-in using a coded keypad. The area of 'owner access only' is one closet on the lower level under the stairwell. Our driveway is wide-open up top and can easily accommodate 6+ vehicles and trailers up the 30+ feet.

Flagstaff Lake Maine Vacation Home
The home and property was very nice and conveniently located near markets and restaurants. We had seven and were all very comfortable and pleased with the commodations. We had no problems with anything and look foward to coming back again next year. Whether you are going to the Flaggstaff area to hike, ski, snowmobile, fish or hunt, or just relax and enjoy the lake and mountain views, this is a great place to stay!

Beautiful home
Truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Access to ITS trails as well as Sugarloaf Mtn made it a great place to stay with the whole family. Spring conditions made the access to the ITS trails a little gritty but other than that it was perfect with three full baths and everything we needed.

Very good host with great communication
We have stayed here before and enjoyed it very much, mother nature cut our snowmobile trip short which was the only disappointment in the trip. Scott was very accommodating to our requests and got back in contact very quickly to answer our questions. Definitely recommend this property for a larger group as there is ample space we had 5 guys in our group and we all had our private space.

Peaceful and cozy!
Everything was as described. It was very cozy and quiet with lovely views. The location was fairly easy to access but AWD is a really good idea in the winter. It's ~20-25 minutes to Sugarloaf but we didn't have trouble getting there, even on a powder day. Scott was very responsive and accommodating, even when we had to bother him because we temporarily locked ourselves out of the basement.

Lovely Home With So Much To Do
Our family loved staying at BriVera in the Mountains. The house was tidy, comfy and as described. We made use of the huge porch (covered for rainy days and uncovered for enjoying the gorgeous night sky), the fire pit (s'mores yum) and the grill. Kitchen had plenty of cooking tools, pots, pans, dinnerware, etc. Beds were comfortable with nice blankets for cool Maine nights. AC was also very much appreciated for the warmer days. We loved how it felt like the house was far away from it all, but it was easy to pop over to the market for supplies. Drives to all our activities -- swimming and boating at Flagstaff lake, walks at Cathedral Pines, hiking the AT and all the waterfall trails between here and Rangeley) -- were easy and beautiful. We can't wait to come back!
