Beautiful little place downtown. Loved that it was downtown but away from all the loudness Main Street can bring sometimes. Come to eureka often for the lake adventures and will definitely choose to stay at this place again.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Sycamore Cottage. It was the perfect cozy place for a quiet relaxing getaway, but also close enough to walk into town to explore. We’ll definitely be back!
We had a wonderful three-day stay at the cottage with our two small dogs. The location was perfect for exploring Eureka Springs, the house comfortable and well appointed.
We stayed for an extended weekend to attend a family wedding. This cottage is in an excellent location. Very quiet neighborhood. Private parking, very close and convenient to other locations. Will stay here again. Very cozy and well decorated. Thanks for opening up your home.
The cottage is adorable, clean, and cozy. It was the perfect size for us. It is in walking distance to the Bark Park, Crescent Hotel, and Downtown. There are neat walking trails all through out the neighboorhood. We definitely plan on coming back!
We've stayed at several of Betsy's properties. We have had NO issues with any of them. This was our first time at the Sycamore Cottage, and it was perfect. A family of four with two dogs and we had plenty of room for everyone. Far enough away from town for serenity, but close enough to walk to town when you want to eat/shop. Thank you so much Betsy for your hospitality, and especially allowing our four-legged family members to stay at your place.
I enjoyed my stay at the cabin. The interior is cozy, clean and comfortable. It has everything one might need. The location is superb - walk everywhere in historic downtown. The snowfall was an additional bonus, as it turned the surroundings into a picture from a fairytale story, Communication with Betsy was also great, she is very responsive and not intrusive . Thank you for the great little getaway!
The cottage was absolutely charming. Just as described in the description. Well equipped for our little stay. The host was responsive to a minor issue we had. This is the first time we actually stayed in town and enjoyed the walks on the trails and the location. Street was very quiet and saw plenty of wildlife throughout the area. Two thumbs up!

Loud a/c
No stand up shower, tub only & loud air conditioning. I left after 1 night even though I paid for 4. Only 1 fork in the kitchen. Living area is dark & somewhat gloomy.
This was a perfect escape from the “real world”. I am sure most folks can relate as we spend our days avoiding people, places and sickness. We arrived at the cabin with enough supplies to feed all of Eureka Springs along with activities for ourselves and our pride and joy, Gator, a 110 pound Bull Mastiff and planned on staying in. But once we ventured out we saw an incredible amount of responsible people following reasonable guidelines making us comfortable with taking in some sites. (While social distancing of course). Even though we didn’t spend as much time in the cabin as we were expecting it was the perfect place to come home to.
We had a great time and will be back! Thanks for making us feel so welcome!
We enjoyed our stay at this well decorated, clean, cozy cottage and were charmed by the town, but there are areas for improvement in the cottage
• Bathroom shower is handheld only with low water pressure. Medicine cabinet extends out too far making access to sink difficult. We were asked to launder towels ourselves.
• Ceilings (and fan) are low so guests must be very careful. I bumped my head 5-6 times.
• Kitchen utensils are very low quality, no cutting knives. Front door lock is tough to lock/inlock.
This was our second stay at this property. We knew that with this host there would be no issues or concerns and we were right. The location of this property is excellent. We were able to walk out the door and hit several hiking trails with our pups. Also just a short walk downtown to all the shops and avoid having to fight the downtown parking challenges. Love Eureka and will be back next year. Property was very clean ( as always).
Location Location Location - Great Host, Great Property!
This pet friendly, one bedroom cottage was perfect for our family and was within the advertised 10 min walk to downtown. It could not be more perfect for our needs. Betsy is a fantastic host and answered all messages within minutes.
The cottage is large enough to accommodate three adults comfortably without feeling crowded, very clean, and has all the amenities you will need, be it for an overnight or months long stay. We really liked the layout, especially the bathroom (the Jacuzzi tub was a hit!). The beds are very comfortable and the cottage is very well appointed overall. More importantly, it sits off the street against a bluff so it is very tranquil and quiet. So tranquil we had families of deer in the front yard every morning and some evenings.
The Crescent Hotel is a short seven minute walk (uphill) and the historic downtown area is an easy ten minute walk from the front door. Pet owners will appreciate the dog park which is two blocks away, as well as the many hiking and biking trails, all at your doorstep.
We liked the property and the area so much we are already planning our next visit.
Thank you Betsy!
This small cottage is located in a quiet area, away from the noise of downtown and constant lights. The darkness at night was so amazing, I actually needed a flashlight to walk my dog. It was a wonderful retreat away from the constant noise and lights of the city.
We spent Christmas here and it was just what we were looking for. The bed was very comfortable and the four of us plus our pet enjoyed the stay and location.
