It features a spacious living area with access out to the private, furnished deck overlooking the canal, a full, well-equipped kitchen, and an inviting dining area. Borrow one of the provided kayaks and enjoy the bay!

It is centrally located to all that the Redwood Coast has to offer including the various Redwood Parks and gorgeous beaches. You're also just 15 miles from the heart of Arcata, home of Cal Poly Humboldt, shops, restaurants, and so much more.

Right on the water!
Such a fun place to stay. The backyard was a canal system and the kayaks were great. The house itself was perfect for our family of four. We spent most days exploring the Redwoods and having a central location to return to was perfect.

It was cold! Two days in a 62 degree house before we figured out heating. Only a breakfast/lunch place nearby within walking distance…and it was closed two days of our stay. When the sun came out it was pleasant but remote. One wine glass?! Most everything else was used but adequate. Very uncomfortable seating throughout.

this is a gem! very clean, quiet, right on the canal, short walk to the waterfront ... it had everything we needed. the management is by vacasa instead of the private owner. the keypad for opening the door was malfunctioning and it took them 3 hours to answer our text. the bicycles had flat tires, and there were no instructions about how to get the kayaks in and out of the canal. even with those issues, this place is sweet sweet. we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. i think that places that are operated by the owners tend to work out better.

Amazing stay
We absolutely love staying here! The interior is cute and charming. The place is well equipped with lots of kitchen supplies for cooking, heaters for those cold nights, brand, new appliances, and lots of board games. It was very clean as well. Nice home
We loved being right by the canal. The neighbors were nice and quiet. The town of Eureka was nice. Plenty of unique places to eat at and shop. Drove up the coast to see the sea lions and otters. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!
This is a very cute cottage. We brought our boat and went out fishing, crabbing and dug clams in the bay! The deck was great and the house is well stocked for people that like to cook. We would definitely go back.
