"Although this hotel was impossible to find on Google maps it is very nice inside. The hotel is connected to another hotel H hotel I believe and they were so much more helpful than mine. Should have booked with them. There is no one to help check in, they sent me a code for my room but after the first day the code changed and no one would reply to my message. My room wasnt cleaned during my stay even though I asked the cleaning ladies for trash to be taken out. The room service wouldn’t take my credit card so I couldn’t order that. They did have breakfast for a reasonable price, but there isn’t much put out just enough for a few people then they slowly bring out the microwaved food. Getting more (which is Buffett style) they look at you rudely like you shouldn’t be getting more of anything. The food was barely warm. The room was on the 23rd floor and I don’t believe anyone else rented a room there because there was plastics on the doors. Weird! There is a washer in the room but no dryer to prepare yourself for wet clothes. The area was good to walk for food but nothing for sightseeing. "

"This was my favorite hotel when I travelled during the trip. It is just a diamond in the rough. Admittedly I hated the 5pm check in time and the breakfast options are limited. Yet, they offer free unlimited water and the hotel is near the airport."

"The property was largely unlike the listing. Rooms and hallways smelled overwhelmingly like cigarette smoke and the air purifier in the room smelled heavily of mildew, making the room smell even worse after turning it on. The strength of both smells was enough to give our group headaches. The headrests of the beds were made of velvet, so you could clearly see the handprints and dragged-down finger lines left by the previous occupants of the room. The remaining evidence of previous occupants' adult activities made us feel like we couldn't touch anything without disinfecting it. The walls were covered in scuff marks and had areas of peeling, and the magazines provided by the hotel contained adult content. Additionally, the area that the hotel is in is very inconveniently located and surrounded by auto shops and industrial workshops, many of which can get very loud. Our view out the window was a recycling plant of some kind, with a large pile of scrap metal and a crane that kicked up dust. Front desk staff was unhelpful and told us that all the rooms were the same when we asked for one that didn't smell like smoke, but the janitorial staff were very kind when we asked for toilet paper as it didn't come with the room. Overall, the vibe of the hotel felt like a rushed refurb with fixtures that are nice on paper (the rooms for some reason came with two PC's) but, in practice, were ill-maintained. Our party refused to stay the night and found accommodations elsewhere."

"We had a great experience at Layers, from beginning to end. It was clean and comfortable. Customer service was excellent. Right off the subway exit so it was super convenient as well. We were 4 girls traveling together, we felt safe the whole time. Highly recommend."

"My two boys and I cycled Seoul to Busan. I reserved this hotel for our night before taking the bus back to Seoul (with our bikes). The hotel was in a perfect location, near the biking trail and 5 min away from the Sasang bus terminal. The hotel was in great condition, the staff spoke with some English, pleasant, and welcomed our 3 bikes inside the hotel, in the stair ways. Our room was in beautiful condition, the beds were comfy, linens were clean, pillows were soft and comfy. There was a fridge too. In the morning, there was free breakfast with bread slices and bread rolls, jam and butter, plus fresh eggs to be cooked (by yourself), milk and cereal, plus orange juice. Simple but very welcome. Great price compared to the surroundings hotels. All in all I highly recommend the Brown Dot hotel. "
