Garden Cottage on College Hill

This is a clean, quiet, sunny, sweet, little cottage tucked into a quiet alley in the Friendly Area Neighborhood on College Hill, only a mile from downtown and the University of Oregon. If you like walking, it's easy to get most places on foot, yet it is privately situated behind another property we own and accessible via a quiet alley. Parking is private, off-street and very close.

In the summer, there is an air conditioner to keep the temperature comfortable. In the winter you can sit in front of the gas fireplace and watch movies curled up under one of the throws. There is a love seat, an armchair and a rocking chair to relax in.

The living room, kitchen and dining area have an open floor plan. There are doors to the bedroom and bathroom. Our remodeled vintage cottage features the original exposed brick chimney and fir floors from the 1940s, which give it a nice warm glow. It is full of windows and skylights. There are updated tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has a gas stove to cook on and is stocked with quality pots and pans and a Keurig coffee maker with coffee provided. There are fresh herbs growing just outside the front door for you to snip! There is a 27" smart TV and high speed internet with which you can enjoy TV shows and movies through your Netflix, Hulu or other entertainment accounts. There is also an HDMI cable so you can connect your device directly to the TV.

Just outside the windows of the main living area there is a little brick patio, garden beds and a rose arbor. It is a lovely place in the warmer months to enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book, sip a glass of wine with a friend or enjoy a full meal. The maple tree gives you nice shade in the summer and beautiful foliage in the fall.

Our downtown is bustling with casual to upscale cafes, restaurants, brew pubs unique food booths, shops and theaters. I am happy to offer suggestions if you let me know what you're looking for!

I live next door so I am readily available to respond to any issues that arise. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing insider information about our lovely town if it is desired, but level of interaction is totally up each guest. The cottage has a keyless entry and is set up for self check-in.

A Very Nice and Cozy Cottage
This cottage is simply Clean, Comfortable, Quite, Cozy, an easy drive to anywhere in the Eugene area and most importantly, a great place to relax and enjoy a drink of your choice seating outside and enjoying the hummingbirds in a relaxing atmosphere.

This lovely place is the perfect place to stay when visiting people in town. It is well stocked, comfortable and a convenient location. Awesome hidden cottage
Very thoughtfully furnished little cottage! Very comfortable with a nice patio. Our host was friendly and welcoming. The cottage was incredibly clean and well maintained. We were able relax with large windows we could open wide and it still felt very private. We plan to stay here again!

If you like clean, cozy, comfortable and quiet, then you will love this tastefully decorated cottage in a great location. Host Jennifer was quick to respond and so accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked; we enjoyed fresh coffee and several varieties of teas. Comfortable bed, super clean and in walking distance of many restaurants, markets and brewpubs. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the cottage. It was homey, comfortable, and fully equipped. The location is plus, close to restaurants, Safeway, gas, University of Oregon, and more. Within walking distance of most. Garden, parking, amenities, and owner are a plus. You couldn't ask for more!

Wonderful Eugene Cottage
This was a very cute, cozy, comfortable cottage located in a quite, quiet neighborhood in Eugene. Jennifer was very helpful when I had a mix-up with my reservation (my error). The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishware, etc. Highly recommend this cottage for 1-2 people during your stay in Eugene!

Well-supplied, lovely, and cozy
We stayed here for a couple of days in January, and from the fresh tulips on the kitchen window sill to the fluffy robes in the closet and guest slippers by the door, every need was thought of and addressed. There was even an excellent ground decaf ready for the French press. The cottage was as quiet as advertised. We were able to sleep comfortably with the windows open even though we were so close to downtown. Highly recommend this cottage.

Lovely Neighborhood Cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Eugene. The cottage was perfect with plenty of living space. It was very clean and had all the amenities you will need. The neighborhood was really nice for talking walks with Washington Park one block away. Grocery store is close by. Jenny kept in touch, checking in to see if we needed anything at all. We appreciated that very much. We highly recommend the cottage will certainly stay again.
