So much we liked about the Hyacinth House. My daughter loved staying in the second bedroom so much she is not looking forward to returning to her college dorm room. The description as cute and cozy is accurate. The house was so stocked with extras that we didn’t expect. We also loved the location. We hope to stay here again!
This is very cozy wee house. Nicely appointed and spotless. Comfortable bed! Quiet neighborhood and walking distance to restaurants, grocery, trails and park.
This is a very nice cottage that is clean and well kept. It has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room for a couple or a small family. It is well located and is very close to shopping, restaurants, etc. Renee was very easy to work with and actually let us extend our stay. I would definitely recommend this cottage and would consider staying here again.
The house was located in a great neighborhood for us. It was close to stores and restaurants. The host was easy to contact and the house was very clean. Our experience was very positive.
This house was perfect for our family to stay to visit our Univ of Oregon athlete. It had all the “extras” that we would have had to buy at the store, like paper towels, tp, spices and baking goods. The location is just south of campus making it easy to go see our student. We will rent this house again!
We spend one and a half week in Eugene as my daughter moved here. She and her husband live close by so the location was just perfect for us. All necessary services are within a walking distance, the house was nice, clean and well equipped. Rénee was very helpful and answered our occational questions in no time.
All in all, highly recommended!
I stayed here with my daughter prior to and during her check in for UO this fall. The house is adorable, well stocked with kitchen gadgets and has the largest washer and dryer I think I've ever seen. The beds were super comfortable. Very quiet family neighborhood. It is just a few minutes and an easy drive to the campus and to local shopping. Will definitely be back!
Came to visit our grandson who's attending the university of Oregon. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a short Stay. Recently added washer and dryer were used by both us and our grandson. Will stay here again when visiting

Loved staying here! Clean safe, well-maintained property. Had all the basics. Renee was easy to deal with and responded quickly. 1 Block from the Hideaway Bakery which was amazing for coffee and breakfast. 1 block from the Amazon Trail for runners and walkers. Next to huge park with pool and playgrounds for kids.

It’s conveniently located. Grocery store is a walking distance, and easy to get around. Renee was very responsive to any questions we had. Well organized. We enjoyed our stay.
Perfect location near the U of O campus. Just down the street from the amazing Amazon trail and the trails into the hills of Eugene. Food within easy walking distance. Quiet neighborhood.
This house was so adorable. Simple but thoughtfully done. And the owners were THE BEST. Our daughter was graduating from college (go ducks!), and we asked if it would be okay for us to throw a small-ish party from 4pm to 8pm. Not only did they say yes, they suggested set up tables in the garage if it rained, and offered us some folding chairs and a crock pot. Truly above and beyond! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. 💗
This was a perfect place for my husband, me and my elderly mom. It had everything we needed, and the location is great. The home is immaculate. You are close to everything but it is also really quiet. The Oregon vs Oregon State game was happening and we would never have known (except to watch on TV and cheer on the Ducks). Renee is a great host. Very quick response to any questions.
Mom and I decided to take a girl trip to mark some things off our bucket list. Hyacinth House was the perfect location, centrally located to all the things we wanted to do. Renee’ was the sweetest and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. It was such a sweet time with my mom. I’m so thankful we had a wonderful place to stay; clean, awesome beds, great amenities, wonderful host. I don’t know when we’ll ever be back this way but we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
Our 6-day stay at Renee’s beautiful home was exactly what my family (my husband, son and myself) needed during our recent stay in Eugene. The house itself is located away from busy street traffic in a quiet neighborhood. It was easily accessible from multiple routes, and was close to stores, restaurants and other conveniences. Although it was a cozy 2-bed/1-bath, the house was very clean and thoughtfully stocked with many of the necessities that made it comfortable to relax in at the beginning and end of each day. The full kitchen, washer/dryer, and enclosed garage space were an added benefit, especially as we were helping our UO son move out of his old apt on one day then helped him move into his new apt a few days later. Having space in the garage to organize moving items helped to make the whole process run smoothly. Renee was easy to reach and quick to respond to any question we had. In closing, I wanted to note that as our family recently experienced the loss of a loved one after months of round-the-clock caregiving, staying at this house brought us peace, comfort and deep rest that we didn’t realize we needed. I’m so grateful that Renee has opened her home to others! We hope to return again someday.
