"Good for the price, basic room with a bit of decay in the property but perfectly clean. Close to town, room 6 that I was in was on the main street so was quite noisy from road noise etc. Not the hosts fault and it's close to town so what you would expect. Close to the canal which was a nice walk in the day. Felt safe and other occupants were quiet."

The bed did creak a bit and was placed in a rather narrow space - very tiny bedside shelf so little room for glass of water / room to get in and out of bed . Lovely kitchen and lounge area and property nice and warm - slightly further outside the village than we realised as we would normally walk to the local pub for an evening drink rather than drive.
