4/10 Poor

Owner needs to be far more honest in his listing.
One of those times when I should have realised it was cheap for a reason... It is a charming location, and whilst the accommodation is just a converted garden shed it could be a perfectly good place to stay. However, what is not made clear for example, is the toilet is literally a bucket in the corner of the room, how you empty it was not clear. So, you will need to live with your 'doings' throughout your stay. There is no running water in the shed. You have to use a garden tap in a nearby barn. To wash, there is a bowl, and you need to warm the water up in a kettle. If you want a shower. There is a shower bag. Heat the water up in the sun, then hang it on a hook on the corner of the shed, stand on the grass, in full view of anyone within about a 400 meter radius and go for it! Final point is it says the property has WiFi. It does, if 437kbs counts as WiFi these days. Add to that the property is in a mobile phone dead spot it is great for a digital de-tox, but as the purpose of my visit was to work it made that impossible. Sadly, I had to go and find alternative accommodation. I want this to be a fair review. It is charming, in a lovely location, and if you are prepared to slightly rough it, and not talk to anyone, it is perfect. However, the key is, you need to walk into this situation with you eyes wide open. The current listing, as it glosses over all these shortcomings needs to be far more honest..
