Cabin was outstanding and stay went off without a hitch. Hosts kept in contact and checked on us throughout. Cabin nicer than pics and highly recommend.
Overall nice place to stay, would book again. There were a few things that could have been fixed (light didnt work in the kitchen, the hot tub has a bunch of rust, their knives barely work).
Overall good location and stay in Estes Park. Very close to the entrance for Rocky Mountain National Park. Comfortable beds and the bonus of a hot tub!
Thus place is awesome. It's the best place I have found out there. The cabin is perfect for a couple. The hot tub was fantastic, and the views from the front porch cannot be beat. We will stay here again in the future
This is the 2nd year in a row my sons and I stayed in the same cottage. We came back because of the cottage (with the best hot tub of any place we have stayed in the last 10 years) is comfortable and meets all our needs. Only a couple miles to the ranger station to gain entry into the park, and grocery shopping, restaurants, gas station etc right across the street. Elk and marmots walk through the yard mornings and evenings. Great place to stay. We will be back.
Great experience at this property! Good views, nothing was broke, east check in and out process, good location and very helpful workers! Would recommend
Cabin was perfect for me, my wife and two kids (10&13). It had everything we needed to have a relaxing week in the mountains.
The hot tub was the cleanest I’ve ever used at a vacation rental. I would recommend Lazy R cottages to anyone looking for a great base camp while exploring the Estes Park area.
We spent the weekend in Estes Park for the ScotFest. Away at the festival all day, the cabin was the perfect place to soak away the footsteps and warm up from the 40 degree day. The doors and windows keep the road noise out amazingly well. Well equipped kitchen and gas grill to make our own food. Overall, a great cabin for a weekend away.
Very friendly and helpful despite challenges we had with Frontier coming in. And stunning views from the Patio for Unit 15. Advertised as views of Continental divide - but actually snow capped peaks in late June. Even better. And right across convenient store and other shops open to 8.30.
This cabin looked even better than the pictures. I ended up driving up on a snowy day. My access code didn’t work right away but I was quickly able to get someone on the phone to help me out. I really appreciate the prompt and fine service. You can get towels, supplies replenished easily online and have it delivered same day to your cabin! I was nervous getting my Corolla up the steep drive but snow plows came and plowed off the hilly drive. This was incredibly appreciated. There were plenty of blankets and a gas fireplace! 100% recommend
This cabin was exactly as shown on the VRBO website. Beds were super comfortable we slept great! Property manager was very attentive -checked in over the several days of our stay, and asked us how things were going, anything else they could do for us, brought us extra coffee! Probably the nicest hot tub we’ve ever seen /used in a VRBO cabin. We could sit on the front deck or sit in the hot tub on the back deck and have elk walk within 30 feet of us. Sip coffee on the front porch and look at the mountains in the mornings. Kitchen was well stocked, great water pressure in the showers which was nice after a long hikes. Only five minutes to the entrance of the national park. Grocery shopping and restaurants and sporting good store literally right across the street. We walked over for things we needed. Very quiet in the evenings. The location was very good and we would stay here again. Gotta say again that we really appreciated the property manager just checking in to see if there was anything they we needed to make our stay great. You don’t get good customer service like that in most places.
The location was amazing. We were in love with the hot tub and the fire places! Our coffee maker was broken, along with the master bathroom fan, and a few of the lights were out. But we still loved it!
The sheets in the master bedroom were very noisy. Like being covered in plastic. Very annoying. The bunk bed was uncomfortable & weird, according to my son. A couple of light bulbs need to be replaced, like the one in the bathroom in the master bedroom. Overall, it was a nice cabin.
The location of this property gave us the best of both worlds. We were only minutes from the downtown area and aerial tramway. We had beautiful mountain views and privacy. There is a small grocery store and gas station located right across the street. Many great restaurants nearby. We loved sitting on the decks and the the hot tub. It was too warm for us to use the fireplaces, but hope to come back again.
Also, the pans and pots were excellent quality. The cupboards were even stocked with a wine bottle opener (which we enjoyed using on a Colorado Orange Moscato).
Lovely place....

Nice but too expensive!
The fireplace in the bedroom was situated at the corner foot of the bed. You couldn’t see it and the flames weren’t pretty, no control of heat. It work to well but it got extremely hot quick. The king bed was very comfortable! The bathroom seat kept coming completely off and the water pressure was low for your shower.
The freezer didn’t work, it kept our bagged ice from melting but it wouldn’t freeze anything. We didn’t report it because we didn’t want someone coming in and staying forever to fix it. After buying ice cream we didn’t buy anything that would melt. We used it as part of the refrigerator.
The porch and covered hot tub was wonderful!
The view was nice if you look up but otherwise there was a shopping center that’s kind of run down and takes away from the views. You don’t see that in the picture of the view from balcony.
They also need more comfortable furniture in the living room but the wood fireplace was really nice!
The location is only 1 mile from Rocky Mt. National park and close to downtown Estes Park. This is not the cabin for you if you want to be secluded in a wilderness area. If you just want a cabin with nice views and close to everything then this is the cabin for you! My next trip I would pick a secluded cabin because I don’t need to go to town that much and it probably wouldn’t be that far anyways. I don’t like seeing cars and buildings as part of my view!
It’s a nice cabin but was way too expensive when I could have spent less in a secluded cabin.
Definitely do trail ridge rd. It’s awesome and before you get to other side we saw lots of moose off the roadside!
Elk can be seen from this cabin because there are so many of them!
