(3279-Estes Park Registration Number) Our unique spacious family-friendly mountain home is conveniently located just 1.9 miles west of downtown Estes Park and 2.3 miles east of the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. This home is surrounded by 2 acres of beautiful peaceful land. Lots of wildlife and outdoor space to enjoy. There is a nice paved sidewalk trail close to our home that goes into Estes Park along Fall River for a relaxing walk or bicycle ride into town. We provide a few bikes for this purpose.

This comfortable and clean home is recently updated with brand new furniture that easily sleeps 12. Tankless water heater provides endless hot water for your whole group. Beautiful mountain, rock outcroppings, and dense forest views from the front of the house as well as amazing direct views of large rock outcroppings in the back of the house. Often there are bighorn sheep and mountain goats that frequent these rocks. When all is quiet you can hear Fall River from open windows, seating on the front porch or back deck.

The kitchen is spacious and recently remodeled with granite counter tops and new stainless steel appliances. It is well-outfitted with brand new dishware and utensils. It has all the pots, pans, mixing, bowls and other kitchen tools you need as well as a crockpot, coffee pot, Keurig K-Cup, and electric tea kettle. The dining room table is set up with one leaf in it to easily seat 12 and second leaf to expand the table for more guests.

The rooms are furnished with new high-end mattresses, rustic log furniture, and quality linens. The master suite on the main level has vaulted ceilings, an attached five-piece bathroom, king-sized bed, 43” smart LCD TV, and Blu-ray player. The second bedroom on the main level has a queen bed, and a twin over queen bunk bed. The lower level includes 3 bedrooms. One bedroom has king-sized bed, 43” smart LCD TV, Blu-ray player, and relaxation chair. Another bedroom has two queen-sized beds. Another bedroom has a full-sized bed with a twin trundle bed pull out.

There are two large living spaces each with 60” smart LCD TV, Blu-ray players, relaxing leather sofas, and fireplaces. The main level living space is outfitted with reclining leather sofa and love seat and has a wood fireplace whereas the lower level living space has a queen sleeper leather sofa and love seat with a gas fireplace. The lower level also includes a wonderful arcade-style game room. The games are set to free play so all you have to do is choose one of the four games, turn it on and enjoy: 2 player multi-arcade with 60 games to choose from including Ms Pacman, Donkey Kong, and more; Space Shuttle pinball; Star Trek pinball; and a 4 player multicade with 50+ games including Rampage World Tour, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sunset Riders, GI Joe, Bucky O'Hare and more; so much fun for the whole family.

There is easy access to the main and lower level with entrances on the front side of the house. Each entrance has tables and relaxing seating to enjoy the wonderful forest and mountain views. There are two access points to a fenced backyard and deck, one from the garage and one from the main level of the house. The back deck has a gas-grill, wrought iron table and chairs that seats 8 people. Off the back of the house is also a nice sunroom with lots of seating, tables, and is glass panel enclosed making it easy to sit down and enjoy a cup of your favorite hot or cold beverage while enjoying the views. We have exterior cameras to monitor the exterior of our home. This provides home protection without compromising guest privacy.

We love our mountain home and are happy to share it with our guests. We work hard on our home so you want to stay with us every time you come to Estes Park.

Wonderful stay
Communication and ease of check in, beautiful property with wildlife. We really enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect for our needs to visit with family and friends. Really enjoyed the sunroom, arcade games and overall beauty of the property and its surroundings. Close enough to town to make convenient runs to store or other sites. Thank you!

Great location-perfect for our family
This was the perfect home for our extended family of 10 to celebrate our anniversary. The home was very well furnished and had enough comfortable beds for everyone. The grandkids LOVED the arcade games and climbing on the rocks. We loved the fact that they could have their fun downstairs. We were halfway between Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, which we visited every day. The owner was very responsive and kept us updated on a brief regional power outage. We had a wonderful time in a lovely home. We would definitely stay here again.

SO much space indoors and out!
Great location close to the main intersection of town, but you feel like you're in the woods. Close to Fall River entrance of RMNP. Great outdoor space. Be prepared to bring your own shower gel, salt, pepper...some basics not included.

We had a great time! There were some oddities (only a few hand towels/washcloths, no dish soap) and unfortunate timing (the exterior was being sanded and re-stained). Luckily we were off hiking most days. Room to spread out, beds comfy, kitchen well-equipped and supplied. We even turned on the pinball machines.

6th stay in an Estes property
I consider this a nicest of the six places I have stayed in in Estes. It worked great for a family of 12. Wonderful deck. Grill needs to be cleaned. We could not use it. If you are using an insect management company if they need to re-spray.

Family birthday celebration for a 10yr old princess
My niece wanted to celebrate her 10th birthday in the mountains; and she was beside herself with delight. We managed to see elk and mountain goats on the property. The basement was the hang out because of the games. The house is so spacious, it was amazing. The dining table facilitated sit down meals with everyone at the table at the same time...how cool is that! She's still beaming.

Christmas Wonderland
My family and I stayed at Castle Mountain the last week of December. The home did not disappoint. The game area kept the grown ups and kids entertained. House was the perfect size to house 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children. The location is minutes from downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Upon arrival we were welcomed by 3 elk grazing through the back area of the yard, we even had a few deer pass by. It snowed while we were there, the street leading to the property was cleared first thing that morning.

Great location and room for family get away
We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone kept talking about how great the house was. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and most importantly, the kids loved that all the video /pinball game worked! The adults loved them too. We really enjoyed the sunroom and spent many mornings and evenings there. The kids (and some adults) even ventured out to climb the rocks behind the house. Only disappointment was, we didn't see any sheep or moose around the house, which is how it goes sometimes. We highly recommend this house. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Sisters weekend
We loved the house- it wasn't spotless but clean. Bc when we arrived, we had a hard time pulling up the code to get in, ; m after trying to get the code, someone tried the door and it was open. ! The day of the snowstorm, we lost power @ 9:00 am. The fireplace in the basement didn't work- looked like pilot light was out, so we froze during the outage, which didn't come back on until 7:00pm. We reached out to the property manager, but got no response, which was disappointing

Mountain Home Centrally Located to Colorado Landmarks
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the cabin with the large rocks perched behind the house. Unfortunately, we didn't see any wildlife on the property, but we found plenty of elk, deer, and moose in Rocky Mountain National Park. The deck was very private, and we really enjoyed sitting in the sunroom during an afternoon rainstorm. There is a lodge at the bottom of the hill, and sometimes crowd noises would drift to the cabin, which might affect light sleepers. The house was comfortable and clean but could have used some replacements for scratched kitchen pans/utensils, broken can opener, and burned-out light bulbs, as well as some home repairs (warped porch gate, warped windows that are hard to open, holey window screens, missing ceiling tile in downstairs bathroom, etc.). The WiFi and TV worked fine, and the house cooled off in the evenings by opening the windows for a cross breeze. The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip, as was the garage. The property was just a few minutes from all of the eastern entrances to the Park and other hiking opportunities. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend the Mountain house in Estes Park to all.

Absolutely Beautiful!
This is a beautiful property in a great location. We needed room for our entire extended family as my daughter was getting married, and this fit us perfectly. We had 10 adults and had plenty of room. The property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. We had elk on the property while we were there, and the sunroom in the back of the house is a great place to relax anytime of day and take in the scenery. The deck on the front looks out over a mountain and we used the provided binoculars, as well as our own, to search for wildlife and just enjoy the scenery. The arcade games in the basement were an added bonus that we took advantage of and really enjoyed. One feature that might be overlooked but was great for us is the tankless water heater, so we could run ten adults through showers and never run out of hot water. We had one minor issue related to ongoing maintenance at the property, but it was handled quickly and to our satisfaction by the property owner, who was easy to contact and very responsive. We've seen some of the reviews that complained about the amount of seating in the living room, or the quality of the dining room chairs, and frankly our experience was different from theirs. We found the chairs to be high quality and fitting of the decor, and with the open floorplan there was seating for all of us. This is a great property, the owner was accessible and responsive, it was clean and well maintained, and we would absolutely rent this property again.

Family get together
Great location, plenty of room for our group. Big front and back deck to hang out and take in the scenery. However, upon arrival we literally had 5 rolls of tp for the week and a couple rolls of paper towels for the kitchen. When i sent a text to Steve asking where we could find more I was told to check under the sinks, which I already did. Informed him there was none, and he never replied back. My family has stayed many places in Estes and have never been required to go get a new propane tank for the grill if it runs out and then leave it for the next guests! Only supplies 2 garbage cans, if you go over, you get to haul it to the dump or pay a $50 fine..again have never dealt with this at other homes/cabins. We brought our own propane take for our firepit and we used it for the 2 nights we grilled. Ridiculous the owner can't supply a back up tank for his guests. Maybe should add another garbage can, or recyclable can, or even have the garbage picked up mid week so your guests don't have to haul their trash to the dump on their vacation. Has a beautiful big kitchen table that has cheap deck chairs around it. And lastly, if you want to have your guests throw laundry in before you leave you may want to supply the detergent. There was a small empty bottle of detergent left in the laundry room. Beautiful location, big house but would not return for these reasons

Good location but dirty and needs maintenance
We were close to RMNP and to town. The property is secluded however it was not clean and does NOT have AC. It got hot even with having fans going in the early mornings and evenings with the windows open. It definitely needs some attention in the cleaning and maintenence department. We had to wear shoes in the home as if you didn't your socks/feet were black. There were dust bunnies and other stuff under beds and couches as it was not swept. The trash can area in the kitchen was disgusting as well as the bottoms of the trashcans throughout the house and garage. I guess my expectations were not met. I did let the owner know of the following issues: Phone jack in kitchen is hanging off Soap pump on kitchen sink is broken off Light in living room is burnt out Dresser in downstairs double queen room closet is a little rough, drawers are not on track Tub in master bath leaks out onto floor Ceiling fan on back porch doesn't work Exhaust fan in master bath doesn't work The TV in the master bedroom has a parental lock and unable to use and the other tvs in the home do NOT have cable hooked up so they are DVD/blu-ray
