Charming Mountain Getaway, 5 minutes to Downtown Estes Park

3 Bed/3 bath-Extra ordinary Mountain Views and close to downtown!
Registration Number 3211
Ideal family, mountain getaway. You will love your stay at Northridge Nest, a spacious ranch-style home, that sits on a large lot in a quiet, established neighborhood with wide open spaces and dramatic views of the continental divide. The interior of the home has been remodeled with a new kitchen, and all three baths have been renovated. New carpet and floor coverings were added throughout in 2015. We also listen to guest recommendations and have added screen doors to both sliding doors in the house, and replaced wifi modem to be more efficient and high speed.
Property highlights:
Game room, featuring a ping pong table, bar and television and table, in garage is a family favorite! Kids can be entertained for hours while adults can enjoy the relaxing views. It’s a wonderful place to make memories. Owners continually update furniture, paint, linens and dishes to keep the home feeling clean, comfortable and modern. Updates are made every year! Home is professionally cleaned, top to bottom, in between every guest.
Bedroom highlights:
The rooms are tastefully decorated with quality linens and furnishings. Every window has mountain views! Wake up to elk in yard surrounding the property. The master bedroom features a king bed, with private full bath adjacent, featuring two vanities. Bedroom two also has a king, with a shared ¾ bath. The third bedroom is exceptionally large, with two queen beds, and a private full bath with double vanity and a large walk-in closet. Walk in closet is large enough for pack n play or extra storage. In addition there is a queen air mattress located in the closet.
Kitchen highlights:
Ideal for cooking a large holiday meal, the updated eat-in kitchen has new cabinets and fixtures, and is well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, crock pot and cooking utensils. If you read the reviews the home is complimented for being the “best stocked kitchen”. There is also a dinette set that seats six, a bar with two stools, and a formal dining room with seating for eight. The kitchen has an electric range/oven, over the oven hooded microwave, refrigerator with cold water and ice maker, and dishwasher.
Outdoor area:
The large patio, adjacent to the kitchen, has a gas grill, 2 sets of table and chairs, and an awesome 360 degree view of the continental divide. Grilling a meal outside is a must during summer months!
Living Space:
The living room is large and open with a portable gas fireplace, a large sofa and chair, so the entire family can watch the new Sony 46” High Definition TV, Satellite High Definition DirecTV service, with local, sports and movie channels, ROKU-Netflix movie library with 300+ movies and High Definition Blue Ray DVD Player with Pandora Radio and NETFLIX movies. Board games, DVD movies, books, and many other extra comforts of home are included.
Accessibility:
There is an expansive feeling in the house because the rooms are all so spacious, and with the exception of five steps at the front entrance and two at the back, there are no stairs.
Amenities:
High-speed wireless internet is provided and a large desk is provided in case you need to conduct business while on vacation.
There is a laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer as well.
Extras for families with kids include a pack n'play and high chair.
The oversized garage even features a ping-pong table!
This home is convenient to Estes Park, only a mile from the eastern edge of town, just off Highway 34, on a paved road. There are nice views of mountains from every angle of the yard, and deer and elk frequently congregate on the lawn.
Please, take a moment to read our fabulous reviews! We want you to have a wonderful stay at this house and do our best to ensure that you are happy!

Loved our stay here. The location was great (even an elk on the lawn when we arrived) and the inside was so spacious. We had more than enough room to spread out and the game room in the garage was an added bonus!

Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park
We had six of us, my husband and I as well as his two sisters and their husbands, that gathered together to enjoy family time as well as exploring Estes Park And Rocky Mountain NP. The house was very spacious and comfortable for all of us. The kitchen is well stocked as well. I will point out that the house could use a bit of sprucing up and there is a musty smell inside. Overall we enjoyed our stay and having the elk in the yard with us was fun.

Spacious and comfortable
7 adults enjoyed staying comfortably at the cabin. Great location, especially for this time of year. We drove through herds of elk to get to the cabin more than once. We would use this cabin again if with a large group again. Also seemed to have lots of stuff for young children.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, easy access to everything!
We loved it!! It was perfect for our family of 5. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay again! Only suggestion would be a pair of Adirondack chairs on the back patio to enjoy your coffee or watch the sun sets.

Quality Family Time
We were three families who stayed in the property for a week. Check-in was easy. The location of the house was quiet and had fantastic views of the mountains. It was also not too far from downtown. The amenities were complete, and everyone had enough space for themselves. My toddler absolutely loved the converted garage/game room and spent many hours playing and making art in the kid's table.

Very nice property. We would definitely stay here again. It is extremely quiet, day and night. Owner was a delight, We had a minor plumbing issue but it was resolved immediately and hassle free. The plumber was a very polite and extremely competent young man. I appreciate the fact that when on a family vacation we never had a single worry about our accommodations. Overall we were very comfortable and felt right at home the entire time.

Everything you will need
Couldn't have asked for a better place to vacation with our family. We had our grandkids ages 6 and 3 and they had so much fun in the game room. Not to mention our nightly neighborhood walk looking for wild life. We saw numerous elk on several occasions. Perfect location for entering the RMNP and going into town. Plenty of space to spread out and not get in each other's way.

Home away from home.
Wonderful time for 6 members of 3 generation family. The kitchen had all of the necessities and then some. It lacked nothing and even had many staples provided. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect sizes. The views were spectacular from front and back of the home. The entire family enjoyed the game room, especially the ping pong table. Located perfect distance from shopping area which included Safeway grocery store. The home made you feel as if you were in your own home.

Family time
The property was more updated thank the picture (furniture). It was nice the kids could play in the garage & do crafts. We have already recommended & shared the property information with friends & family. We used to live in Greeley & were very familiar with the area. We left a little sled hope someone can use it as it would have been nice if there was one there just to use with the kids.

Wonderful stay
Great visit and the location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. The not so good: * One of the dryers i(laundry closet) not working. Puts out heat but doesn’t tumble. * Backdoor screens are falling off of tracks. * Airbed may have a leak. It deflated during the night. Finally. I broke one of wine glasses.

Nice, but needs work
2 couples, near 65, we travel lots. The first impression is rough, as the grass hasn’t been mowed in a long time. The facia boards on the front of the house need paint in a BIG WAY. There was a big, sticky stain right in front of the front door, which we had to dodge all week. Inside was as advertised, quite spacious. The Direct TV wasn’t working Saturday and until we texted Karine (Property Mgr) on Monday after getting back from RMNP. Karine contacted the owner, and the bill was paid quickly. We had to do a work around until then. My biggest problem was the horrible pillows. Nothing close to a medium, they were all paper thin. The other couples’ biggest issue was the hot water as they showered. It would go from hot to ice cold in the blink of an eye. Seems they use a recirculating hot water system to heat the place, and it pulls water as needed/ when needed. The other couple also reported some sort of short in the master bedroom ( he’s a literal rocket scientist). The last negative from me (an old hotel guy for 38 years) is the threat of being charged $25 if we didn’t empty our own trash cans on departure day. We paid a substantial cleaning fee, and they can’t empty the trash?! I thought that was absurd. The ladies stressed how clean the place was inside. Other than the things mentioned above, it’s a nice place. Quite a lot of space, and the furnishings were comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with silverware, pots, and pans.

Northridge Nest
Overall my family had a great stay at Northridge Nest. The home was extremely spacious with plenty of room to spread out. This was very important to us as we had a mixture of all ages during our 4 day stay there. It was very close to downtown and The Stanley Hotel which was one of the reasons for our visit to Estes Park. Beautiful scenery all around the house. On our first day, an elk decided to lay down under the tree in the yard. We were very excited to see wildlife! Absolutely loved that previous guests had left condiments and such in the fridge and cabinets. We also contributed a few items ourselves. The kitchen had everything you would ever need. Loved having a washer & dryer to do up our laundry during our stay. Just like previous reviews, I would have to say the downside was the screen door on the kitchen patio doors was broken. It would of been great to of opened that door to let air in the kitchen area. Personally, I don't think it would cost too much to replace to satisfy guests after numerous comments about it on their reviews. We did have an issue with the internet going out multiple times. Caitlin was quick to contact the company and throw out some suggestions on how to fix it. After reading previous reviews, I saw this had been an issue and she suggested the same thing with previous renters. With five children all using cell phones and needing internet for their social media, it was a problem to say the least. The house could possibly need a new router as we kept having to unplug all connections to the router and plug back in only to have internet for about 20-30 minutes again. We ended up using a lot of our own data. Only one other issue was the trash did not get emptied from the previous guests before we arrived. I contacted Caitlin to see if anything could be done about this as it was starting to stink up the game room in the garage. She suggested we set it outside while we played in the game room and then put it back inside the garage for the night so wildlife could not get in it. It would of been much more appreciative if someone had came to empty it. It was not enjoyable to hangout in the game room. We left on garbage day and set the entire trash out by the curb as directed. It was a total of two trash cans and about six garbage sacks laying all around them. I, myself have a lake house in the Ozarks and we make it a point to dispose of all garbage before leaving.
