The property is in an excellent location. The flat was clean and had everything we needed however the living room furniture is quite worn and should be replaced. We were not informed about the building being painted however we did find out in advance of our stay and the property manager actually visited the property and reported back to us. The work is finished on this flat but the outdoor spaces (balcony and rooftop terrace) need a good cleaning and a refresh on the furnishings. Overall this is a great flat and perfectly located for access to the boardwalk, shops and restaurants.
Great property with view to die for in excellent location on the edge is the bustle of Estepona. The key collection and return in a completely different town is problematic as some airport transfers will not do this. Apartment agency were very understanding and helpful about this but it needs to be clear from the outset. Overall, great place!
This property has a great location and view to the front. To the back is a huge supermarket which is very handy and gives no issue.
The apartment block is ugly and seriously needs an upgrade but it looks like it won’t happen collectively. Some owners are getting work done ( we had a couple of days of noise) but others are just continuing to collect money without making improvements.
This apartment is suffering from age and offers nothing special other than the view. There is no hair dryer so bring yours on the aeroplane and no soaps etc which is unusual nowadays. Everything can be bought at the handy supermarket next door though! Now we have two hairdryers lol.
we would rate the location 8/10 and the apartment 5/10. The price was fair though, so I suppose the owners are trying to strike the balance between making improvements and increasing the price or leaving it as it is and keeping the price fair. Not an easy decision!

Der Appartment-Block wirkt von außen etwas vernachlässigt, das Appartement selbst ist aber in Ordnung. Die Lage hat uns sehr gefallen, nahe an einem Einkaufszentrum, nahe zum Strand und mit direktem Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer.
Bett bequem und Dusche und Küche funktionell, wir hatten einen entspannten Aufenthalt.
Sehr schöne Lage aber große Schimmel- bzw. Salzflecken
Sehr schön sind Lage, Größe und Dachterrasse der Wohnung. Großer Nachteil sind große Schimmel- und/oder Salzflecken an der Wand von Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer. Außerdem diverse größere Schäden am Außenputz im Bereich Balkon und Dachterrasse.
The check in staff were incredibly helpful & competent when we arrived, allowing us to check in early & leave keys on departure. The flat was clean, as advertised & everything worked. If it were my rental property I would have provided toilet rolls, cleaning cloths, bin bags & some cleaning products but all were readily accessible locally.. Might be worth letting visitors know that if you don’t keep the floors clean you get an ant invasion! Overall, more than adequate accommodation in a great spot.
This was the 2nd time we've stayed at this small complex (the first being thru another renter).
The apartment itself is compact but comfortable and clean, and has everything we needed other than shade for the roof terrace.
We did contact the Management Company to enquire if they could provide or even rent some parasols, but they never got back to us, so we bought some sunshade sheets from the nearby CASA shop, which did the job nicely.
The view from the roof is stunning as well as being private and not overlooked - a big plus for us.
Only 2 sunbeds (not a problem for us two) and no cushions, although we used those off of the chairs instead - so again, not a problem for us.
A shaded parking space is provided - again a big plus for us.
The location itself is behind the large Carrefour supermarket and whilst in itself isn't particularly appealing on entry, that is soon forgotten when you get into the apartment itself and see those views.
It's a 10 minute stroll into town along a relatively flat prom where lots of great restaurants can be found.
The beach is beautiful and the beach bars are just what you need to ease those long strolls!.
Small improvements would include things like providing washing up liquid/dishwasher tabs, a supply of bin bags, salt and pepper, etc. These all available in the supermarket next door but ought to be stock items for a rental really.
Just a suggestion rather than a major negative.
So, other than the lack of shade upstairs, (which to be fair the description doesn't suggest otherwise) all was very good and as expected.
Overall, for the price we paid, this was an excellent choice of apartment in a great little "real" resort.
Would highly recommend and would happily return.
