"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Älgstugan. Beautiful surrounding forest for walks, fabulous sauna, and very cozy cabin. Were lucky to get some snow there and it was magical. Can’t recommend enough!"

"The cottage was super-warm and cosy, clean and stylishly decorated. The location is quite remote (about 15 minutes drive into Ystad) and there are no facilities on your doorstep. Bearing this in mind, it would have been lovely to find a pint of milk in the fridge for tea/coffee on arrival. Also, the kettle was broken - a minor issue as we used a saucepan to heat water, but I seem to remember a previous review mentioned this, so clearly the owner had forgotten to buy a new one. "Nach einer Woche an der Westküste in einer kleinen schwedischen Kate kam uns diese Unterkunft wie ein Herrenhaus vor. Alles hell, geräumig, hohe Decken und ein toller Garten, in dem wir die Johannisbeersträucher auch innerhalb unserer Urlaubswoche nicht leer bekommen haben. Zudem eine sehr nette Vermieterin und viel Natur rund herum (die Rehe stehen regelmäßig auf der Wiese hinter dem Schlafzimmer und fressen). Sehr zu empfehlen!"

"The location is beautiful and scenery but the cottage itself was too small to accomodate 4 of us. No proper beds just sofa beds which were really a hassle to open and rather uncomfortable. There is no private bathroom and the toilet and showers are locared separately outside the cottage. Making this very uncomfortable and awkward if one needs to use the bathroom late at night in the cold, rain and snow. We ended up leaving and didnt make our full stay 😪 "
