"Have stayed there on several occasions and once again found it good value for money, friendly staff and lovely breakfast."

"Very grand and impressive hotel, and although an old building everything was in a clean and good condition. The only exception was the bed. The bedding (i suspect the quilt) smelt musty and stale and the mattress was tired with springs easily felt as you lay on it. The pillows were not very nice either."

"We stayed overnight to celebrate my special birthday. I had an accessible room which was absolutely perfect for my needs, my family had an adjoining room in case I needed support. Anyone with concerns about their mobility, access to showering facilities etc should be reassured that this hotel will cater for your needs! The atmosphere was warm and friendly, everyone was helpful and welcoming, we had a stress free relaxing break. The food was delicious, served in a relaxed atmosphere, we will definitely be returning!"
