"Absolutely gorgeous property! Secluded, serene, and just a lovely atmosphere. Great sunsets overlooking the olive grove and sunrises over the mountains, a very romantic place. Be aware that the toilets are on the ground floor and the bedrooms on the second floor, in case anyone in your travel party has issues with stairs or using the restrooms at night. The house was also sparsely supplied (i.e. be prepared to bring your own toilet paper, soap, etc.). "

"Casa Holmes is in a lovely little village and is impeccably clean with a completely private fantastic large pool. Lots of thoughtful touches iwhich is in a little old authentic Spanish village house . Great aircon in all bedrooms! The only SLIGHT drawbacks are that the stairs are quite steep with the last two steps being higher than others - there is a baby gate but for tiny children maybe not totally suitable - there is a handrail however. "La casa es incluso mejor que en las fotos, se llega bien y es amplia, luminosa y súper cómoda. Lola estuvo muy atenta pese a no llegar a vernos en persona. Muy recomendable para visitar la zona."

Amazing view from fabulous room

"Fabulous modern hotel made to look like the castle nearby. Lots of quirky features. Room superb, lovely bed linen and towels. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body cream all available in-room. Balcony lovely. Views are amazing and worth the drive with hairpin bends. Dinner and breakfast great. Service throughout was very good."

Not so good

"The beds were uncomfortable and the wife was almost hurt when she sat up and the bed tilted. The towels were like sandpaper. We had to phone someone to get in, who didnt speak anu english which I know isnt expected in their own country. Fortunately I managed. Others might not. Location was the best part of the visit."

"Back in 1970 this was probably a lovely hotel, unfortunately it’s not been touched since and is now very dated, worn and unkempt. The area outside is filthy and much of the local area is semi derelict. Soundproofing is non existent so you’d better hope for considerate neighbours. "

"Lovely country house in the Spanish rural countryside. Rooms are good with nice amenities and has air con Restaurant is located in the olive mill with all the machinery in situ Food and wine all local and tasty Nice pool area a little unkept but welcome in the heat of the day "
