"Really great place for a big family get together. Has everything you need. Plenty of space for lots of people. Amazing fire place for warming up in the winter. Hot tub and games room were a big hit. "

"The River Lodge is a beautiful property set in lovely grounds. We had a large beautiful room, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and a balcony with a wonderful view of the mountain. We had fabulous breakfasts and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside is that it is quite remote - about a 10 minute drive into Ohakune."

"We came up with a large group of friends for a ski weekend. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to ski, but we had so much fun doing other things around Raetihi - the dinosaur house, carrot adventure park and the tip shop were some of our favourite things to do. The property was very well appointed with plenty of bed and bathrooms. The dining area was very cosy with a dire, and we were able to cook plenty of meals with the well appointed kitchen. "This was a great place for us 3 adventure motorcyclists. Weather turned bad so we were early and staff were great.. got into room early. Everything very much like a ski lodge, great atmosphere in bar / dining area."
