The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. "We enjoyed our stay at the mid century modern 3 level house. The view of the ocean and river was lovely, and we loved having a lemon tree in the yard. The pool was nice even though it was too cold to use it. The house could have been a bit cleaner upon arrival "

"We all had an enjoyable stay, the house was spacious, well equipped and in a quiet residential area with few shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The pool and garden were great for the kids and the metro nearby was handy for trips into Porto. Maria was a great host and very communicative, regarding any questions we had."

"We stayed for five days in October; the apartment had lots of space for the five of us. It is located close to the water and restaurants. The unit and the neighbourhood were both quiet. It’s easy to get downtown by bus,tram or Uber. The owner and management company were quick to respond to any questions that we had. "Our stay was made especially pleasant by the helpfulness and friendliness of the owner. He could not have been better. Because it was an old stone house the availability of electrical outlets for charging phones etc and for appliances was very limited. Perhaps the charm of an old house. The swimming pool was a wonderful attraction on hot days."
