"It was my first time staying in a hostel and this was such an amazing stay! The rooms were clean and we had housekeeping everyday! This will be my go to spot every time I stay in London! It’s a fairly quiet are (minus your usually cars passing by) and the fellow residents are respectful when it comes to quiet time. There is a buffet for breakfast and it was quite enjoyable! "

"The property was clean. The toilets always clean with loads of toilet papers. I didnt have to climbe stairs to go to the toilet. We had shower in the room. Always warm. What you see on the internet is what it is"

"Freindly hostel n frills but great value for money, was not aware from listing that towels not included but available to hire at additional cost, also needed a padlock fir my locker which i purchased at reception this provided me with plenty of storage in my dormatory. Bar was to noisy for me but would be great for younger people there were good alcohol offers for residents! "I stayed in a pod and it was one of the better hostel experience i had. The pod provides a lot of privacy and ample sound proofing. The pod is also large enough to fit me (188cm, 6'2'). The common facilities could be cleaner. the bathroom and the showers are quite cramped for a large person like me. the area is very convenient located next to king's cross station. "

"Check in was awful, asked for a passport for a 12 year old in the UK from the UK and expected me to have brought it or other photo id? Didn’t pre register me properly and never got a message to say the room was ready. Room and location amazing. Pool great, but really busy."

"We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this amazing hotel. The Cumberland is a great choice when visiting London especially if you are traveling with your kids. We reserved a junior suite which had a very comfortable pull out sofa already made up for our teenage daughter. The room was spacious and so very clean. The bathroom was amazing with modern decor and so warm! Honestly the best shower on our 2 week trip! It is a big hotel, but with real processes and trained staff in place to accommodate guests. There is such a great energy and vibe one feels as soon as you enter the property which was amazing and fun. Superb bar and nightly entertainment on lobby floor, amazing gym and conveniences to get food any hour of the night. Good security and the facilities are so updated and clean. This is an ideal location very close to Hyde Park and major attractions. Highly recommend this hotel and its amazing staff for your next trip to London "
